One of the blokes in the background I heard say "do it again" to which the pilot replied with that sound in his voice that implied, " Hell no, I don't even know how I got away with it that time." . If you look around you can find some amazing jet flying using thrust vectoring to do what I would normally have considered impossible for a jet. There's one particular clip of a matched pair of jets doing the most insane 3D type manoeuvres mostly over a lake, it is awesome to watch.

Lol, you'd be surprised what these aircfaft can do with a decent enough headwind. The Antanov An-2 can not only hover on the spot in the right conditions, it can actually fly backwards, I've seen it with my own eyes on several occasions, it's quite something to behold for a bird of its size. I have to give props to the pilot of that first Mirage at the 2:00 mark. It sounds like he lost his engine and had to make an emergency landing in a strong crosswind. That was a beautiful recovery in the grass to minimize the damage. Same with the Wildcat pilot at 7:30 who lost the engine in a bad position for a recovery. Considering it looked like the turn back to the strip bled out the momentum too much to make a proper landing, it had enough to cushion the impact.

wind... there is something like a wind in our atmosphere, and even normal aircrafts do not fly when it's too strong... such a waste of work, effort, energy, money, good emotions... wind blows you out of the sky.... sometimes...

real planes can fly fine in wind. its landing and taking off in (cross)winds thats hard. They regularly fly C-130's straight through hurricanes.

It's really a shame that I laugh so hard at some of these because these things are horribly expensive and it takes so many millions of hours to make them look as perfect as these guys make them look.
