Finished The League of Lady Poisoners by Lisa Perrin. Also finished The Wren in the Holly Library by K. A. Linde. Got in a couple chapters from The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon too.

@BooksAndJams I'm not loving it either. It's a bookclub read, and I told them I think something is getting lost in the translation for me. I'm reading words that I logically know should be invoking certain feelings in me from moment to moment, but it's just not hitting. Even the scenes that are a bit gothic are just the words without the feeling for me.

I ended up not starting that one because I'm 4th in line for the audiobook at my library and want to listen to it. I have heard only good things from others though!
