Fun fact about me : I was really smart when I was in 1st grade, and I was a fourth grade level. I was going to be moved into the fourth grade, but they tried to move the there for a week to see how I was going to respond. I was terrified of the fourth graders because they were so big, so I was never transferred. Edit from a year later haha I realize this was equally irrelevant but relevant at the same time, and by that I mean that Sheldon slightly reminds me of my past self, always wanting to prove myself and my intelligence, but yet always managing to be overlooked simply for how young I am or how I look, and frankly I'm still like that to this day, and perhaps it's something I'll never grow out of.

As a sophomore, I moved to a new school. By the end of week one, I decided to find a lunch mate by looking for someone sitting by themselves. The kid I found turned out to be a brilliant freshman. He wasn't a prodigy like Sheldon, but he did leave school early to attend MIT. Seniors would come to our table at lunch to ask him about physics and chem homework. He was the only kid I know to ace the senior chem final.

Tbh, i dont blame Sheldon for being a bit of a so called jerk people make him out to be, specially later on. As we see here, he has to feel threatened for being a naturally clever kid, and having to deal with the fact kids will be a dick to him cause of it. Thats the world we live in. Its considered the norm that bullying is ok. Why shouldn't he be able to wear his bow tie? Why does he have to be the one what does what the bullies wish?
