Sheldon has gotten away with insulting his elders and those who are ahead of him in their careers for too long. He is only 11 years old and thinks he knows more than his college professors. He needs to be put in his place more often. The only problem is when Dr. Sturgis tells him not to come to his class any more, later in the season he is still attending and no indication of him apologizing to Dr. Sturgis.

I dont see anything wrong with the trophy store guy in this, there was no reason to have female trophies for baseball at that time especially in texas, he gave her a set rate for custom made trophies and didn't refuse her business even after being talked down to

I still like this show and I used to be a big fan of the big bang theory. In my honest opinion Sheldon should of been a lot more grateful to Dr. Sturgis because at least Dr. Sturgis was willing to give a thanks to him in the footnotes on Dr. Sturgis scientific paper but Sheldon wanted way more credit than that. No wonder Sheldon turned out the way he did because his mom was to strict on him and she should of done a much better job of raising Sheldon. I am looking foward to the Georgie and the spinoff about his family.

I don't know whether it is different in physics, but in my type of research, there is nothing else. There is co-writing, and there is footnotes (we call them "acknowledgements" in my field), and that is it.
