You came close! That ogre going down gave you a fighting chance. And you’re Mordheim skills have improved with target focusing. The dice were just against you. And it made for a very good story! The zealots defiled the shrine, and paid for their hubris. Once again, the Old Worlders learned why their forefathers said to not enter the swamps. Great story, good sportsmanship, beautiful scenery...all in all very well done.

...ah, typical Mordheim...thought you had it with the Ogre and Magister down but the wonderful fudged dicerolls made it the sort of "cinematic" game that I love...fantastic!!!...thank you...and so cool to see that you're gonna play another game!!!...;-)

A cool game. It's still funny to see the combats going at what seems like a snails pace. Most of the time it seems like you are rolling for crits. A great narrative.

"My lord, I will aid you with the power of... OH NO!!!" That's a very handsome Fimir warband; but, then so is the Empire one. The game itself is hilariously scrappy with no chance to be heroic beyond that which blind luck supplies. That's the heart and rotting soul of grim darkness.

I miss Mordheim. How GW hasn't rekindled it is beyond me. Change none of the rules just re-release the whole thing. It's said how games are getting dumbed down for easier quicker games. But the basics of old school Mordheim are very easy to pick up. 14 year old me played this no problems.
