Having played all 3 of the core human warbands I would argue that the S4 heroes from Middenheim has served me better than the cash of Marienburg. Cash comes and goes depending on post-game, while the S4 helps win fights. Plus the amount of extra attacks you end up with as S is already max is crazy. My leader was butchering all sorts in melee. No debate about stoopid Reiklanders and their stoopid BS4 marksmen... :p

First turn for the Orcs and Goblins, don't they have to make animosity rolls for the henchmen or a stupidity roll for the Troll? Or did that happen off screen?

I was surprised by a few things in this game. I thought the troll failed its leadership on a 4. Normally low numbers for leadership are good. Half the models in a unit suffering stupidity can fight back. For skirmish games its normally roll and on a 4+ they can. I also think they forgot animosity. But its more important that two guys had fun with their game.
