Bought one in September 2019 6.5 Creedmoor, I have to say this is one of the best rifles I have ever bought, very accurate. Bought mine at Cabelas - $279.95 50.00 rebate at the time of purchase, 17.00 off for vet. discount. Had my own scope, Discovery 4-12-44 scope lifetime warranty they mounted it for me, did a bore site. 213.00 plus tax. what a deal Took it to the range. 3 shots, 3 scope adjustments, to get Bullseye. Love this Rifle.

I got one in .30 06 last fall. Love the thing, very accurate! Put on a 2-10 x 42 Nikon Monarch 5 scope, a muzzle brake, & just ordered a Boyd's Stock for it. After using it for a year the bolt has definitely smoothed out for the better. Highly recommend this rifle. Smokin' deal! 🔫👍

For the wobbly target and bench that ain't bad at all. My Thompsons from last year shoot under .5MOA with solid rest and a good day. I foam filled the stock and improved the trigger for best performance.

A friend of mine bought one from Kygunco last year. His is in 30-06. It’s easily a sub-mob rifle. A screaming deal when you get it with a scope.

My T/C Compass in 223/5.56 shoots 0.4-0.7 5-shot groups from 100 yards with Fiocchi 40gr V-Max every time if I do my job, and this is even with a sub $100 cheap scope. This is my first entry into centerfire caliber so I went the affordable route and haven't got into reloading yet, but its performance using factory ammo has far exceeded my expectations :) I wouldn't hesitate a sec to pick up another T/C Compass, maybe in .308 or 6.5 Creedmoor? Can anyone with experience with these 2 calibers give me some feedbacks? Thanks in advance!

is the combo with the crossfire 1 or crossfire 2?
@chazs94306 жыл бұрын
It is a crossfire 2...They include Leupold Rifleman high rings.I ordered mine in 30-06,and really like it for the price.I wondered why they included high rings on a bolt action with a short lift bolt,and found out when I tried to use some medium Weaver rings that I have laying around.The power ring and rear base won't clear each other.The scope just barely fits the wide spacing of the rings,so it can't be slid back enough to clear.I do not like my glass mounted high,and even considered grinding the rear base down some,but I just changed the scope with a proven scope I had laying around.I will find good use for the Vortex one day.

Really great video!!! Being a shotgun shooter, I’m not sure what caliber to obtain???? Not a big game hunter, probably will only be used at paper punching.
@dgambrel92416 жыл бұрын
tom puckett I like .243 or 6.5, very little recoil, flat shooting, 6.5 has good factory match ammo and can still hunt deer and black bear if you decide. I bought one last year in 6.5 super accurate for a rifle I was out $215 and used a diamond back scope I already had, 3/4” at 200 with precision hunter, 1 3/4 with American Whitetail and 2” with hmm Berger’s. Shoots almost as well as my cooper 280, better than my lumber 280ai and close to my semi custom 700. I may get a .243.
@jacobshepherd39976 жыл бұрын
tom puckett if you use it strictly for punching paper and won’t go past 600 yrds (and VERY few people ever do, despite what they say on the internet) then I would go with 5.56/.223 due to the cheapness of match ammunition and the availability of cheap surplus ammo. However this will pretty much limit you to just shooting paper as .223 isn’t really enough of a round to hunt large game.

Savage did the same last year... got a savage axis for $235 after rebate/tax. mine is free floated but it has no oversized bolt handle, threaded barrel, adjustable trigger, 5r rifling or moa guarantee!! To the people asking if they come in a youth model.,They have kinda a short length of pull as they are.I bought one in 30-06,and the L.O.P. is about the same as my Wife's 7mm08 Axis youth..The only real difference size wise is the extra 2" of barrel.
