PRODUCT QUALITY
These things are made out of height quality leather, and weight just under 8 ounces, so they're heavy enough to do the job. I've tested it out, and it certainly does the job it claims to do. I suppose if you need something like this, then you'll be happy with the quality.
AD COPY INTEGRITY
The ad copy reminds me of a late night infomercial with statements like "Say goodbye to the frustration of keeping magic books open while learning from them." But if you can look past that, it's solid, and accurate, and the product does what the ad copy claims to do.
FINAL THOUGHTS
Effect: None.
Method: None.
Product Quality: Excellent.
Ad Copy Integrity: Silly-ish. Accurate.
At the time of writing this review, you can get black leather and brown leather. I own the black one. I can't imagine that the review for the brown one would be any different, so this review is posted on both the black and brown product page. If this solves a problem you have (i.e., being annoyed at books flopping closed on your while you're reading and / or following the instructions) then you'll be happy with your purchase if you feel that your "problem" warrants a $35 dollar solution.

I use a book stand I got from amazon that's supposedly meant to be used for cook books. It's a lot cheaper and as far as I'm aware is not made with any animal products. This does seem like a nice portable solution though.

On my "reading station" I have a box of bookmarks, sticky notes, and now, a leather book weight. :0]

What are 5 utility gimmicks you think every magician should own ?

Great question, but the answer would vary depending on the type of magician. For example, a mentalist's would be different from a magician. For magicians, close up is different from stage which is different from casual vs. formal, etc. But in general (very general): 1) TT 2) Pull 3) Multiple out "system" (wallet, envelope, both, etc.) 4) Flap box 5) Copper/Silver coin (and / or a shell)

I was hesitant about this tool. But man, was I wrong. It works very well even with the heavy bound books. The price is a bit high (I'm sure I got it with a discount), but I haven't found a better or equal alternative. The Shadow Wallet offers a good peek and comes in a vegan variant. (I almost made a lymeric out of this post 😂)

I know of a viewer who tested this tool He tried it out and found it a jewel Plus a vegan wallet That's pretty solid I wish it were a Limerick. That would've been cool.
