TCG Card Simulator Mods I Can't Live Without!

In this video, I showcase some mods in TCG Card Simulator that I can't live without, including a Pokémon texture mod!
📣 IMPORTANT: If the Pokemod one doesn't work for you after installing it correctly, check to see if the game was updated recently. If so, a mod update is likely needed.
📣 Also, be sure to copy the original asset files you are replacing so you can restore them easily without having to verify your game files.

Thank God they'd only go after the mod maker and not the devs. Palworld is getting sued because you can throw a ball and catch monsters which Nintendo has patented. Video game companies that patented mechanics only stop other good Ganges from coming out. The nemisis system in shadow of mordor is patented by Warner Brothers, that's why it's not in any other game. I dislike Nintendo with how sue happy they are

The craziest thing I’ve seen you do is set the back stock box on top of the shelf. I’ve only seen a couple people play this but none of them have done that and I never considered it. Just thought those shelves sucked for having a space you couldn’t put product on to sell.

I love Pokemon cards mod 👍🏻 when I talk about TCG I always think of Pokemon cards. Along with Magic the Gathering, they are two of the most popular brands in TCG. Its just that Pokemon has its own movies, games, etc making it one of the most recognized brands in many contexts.

I’m sure the developer will add some quality of life stuff here and there based on the mods that come out. That was the case with the fast pack opening. Supermarket Simulator did that as well, adding functionality after certain mods came out.

​@fizandfuzz i found ripping the textures from the game files with the AUI thingy and then adding the plushing meshes ing meshes works. Just tested it. And I can jow swap the packs with the oldest ones. Basically, you can chop up a lot of mods with texture replacer

I literally asked myself yesterday if this game had mods. Not only does it have mods, there's a mod I always wanted as a feature! The Auto Set Prices mod. The Pokémon mod tho sadly won't work till they update it I assume. When I installed the mod to the game, it crashed my game trying to load my save. I did it twice.

The fact it isnt actual card art is a real turn off.

The mod author made cards with custom art so that it wouldn't get taken down from Nexus by the site moderators. It's a small price to pay, in my opinion. There is a texture replacer mod, so you can always give it a try and change the textures to actual card art and keep that for yourself.

Nintendo will DMCA the mod creator, it's just a matter of time. i have seen a lot of good and crap mods that had pokemon in them and Nintendo DMCA the crap out of them and even threats of lawsuits have happened.

Sorry to hear that! If you're talking about the Pokemon mod, the instructions for that one are in the description of the mod. It says: "Simply extract the zip file and replace the files in the folder: `Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\TCG Card Shop Simulator\Card Shop Simulator_Data`" So this mod doesn't need to be put in the BepInEx folder, but the folder listed above. It's a lot less complicated than the BepInEx ones, but this one can break when a new update for the game comes out, so you have to check if the mod author has made an update and replace the files again.

But if you watch my video on how to install mods, it shows you how to get to the game folder using Steam. That’s where you will find the folder I mentioned. Then you just extract the zip file and drag the files from there into the data folder I mentioned.

It actually depends on the mod, some mods say that it will disable achievements but you will get a warning, apparently. Like the money multiplier mod and things like that.

I don’t think so, since the asset files would just get replaced if you try to add another one after installing the first one. The only way would be to edit the asset files yourself and modify the textures to pick and choose the ones to want, but I haven’t messed with texture replacers myself in this game.

I believe it depends on the mod. I would read the mod description or the comments to see if the author mentions anything. For example, there is a value multiplier mod that says it will disable them if you set values above 1, but you will get a warning.

There was an update to the game and the mod author has already updated the mod, so it's working again. This will happen every so often, you just have to wait for an update to the mod when the game has an update. The author is pretty quick about getting it fixed.

It’s survived Nexus moderation for a while now, I think it could be interpreted as “fan art” since it’s a mod and not affiliated with TCG Card Sim itself. The mod maker isn’t profiting from it or doing anything illegal like emulators. No guarantees but I think it’ll be fine.
