no. 27, 28 and the amazing pre- finale (and of course the finale) makes you cry of emotion because if you really love a theater, an orchestra, a ballet corpse, that gives you a reason to love life and to support the arts no matter where they come from.

What about 10. Scène and 13. Danses des cygnes both from Act II. You can't hold your emotions anymore in 29. Scène finale

This particular dance is extremely beautiful and I believe is an integral part of the original version and I am surprised some versions (with modified happy ending) drop it. The sad dance seems to portray mourning by the Swans over betrayal of Princess Odette and their doomed fate. I personally feel the theme bears resemblance to mourning songs of Armenia and North Caucasus (with Persian music influence), though Tchaikovsky was not known to be particularly interested in the music of that area (unlike Rimsky-Korsakov, Ippolitov-Ivanov and some other Russian composers).

You are right. It is indeed an integral part of the original version that you can hear in integral recordings of the ballet conduct by Svetlanov or Rozhdestvensky for example. It was cut after the composers death for a revival in Mariinsky Theater, which became popular, that's why Kirov still presents the altered version, which also countains some inserted orchestrated piano pieces of the composer. The original version is far superior.
