smalin That's a very fair argument. I for one hate the sound of nearly everything Debussy ever composed, despite his being lauded as one of the best composers of the late 19th/early 20th centuries. So yes - I entirely understand. Thank you for responding.

This just shows how close we've come to bridging the gap between computer-generated and human-played music. Obviously, computers still need a bit of human intervention to get it sounding really good.

It would be like calling my response to your comment "computer-generated" since the computer is providing the virtual paper, virtual fonts, and virtual mail system.

Angel33Demon666 I understand, haha. I have my exceptions too. I still love Rachmaninoff's piano concerto 2 and other pieces. Music is pretty subjective. There are purist pedants who will tell you that your opinion is wrong because it doesn't measure up to the theory, but I feel that's a bit silly. If something sounds good to you, then that's great!
