Idk about the TCI Outlaw, but I stumbled across this B&M video where they have a shifter gate with the reverse lockout deleted kzbin.info/www/bejne/sH2bp6yAhLWbe9k They call it the off-road gate

I've made a custom detent plate for these shifters that provide a neutral lockout and there's no need to squeeze the trigger at all for the 1-2 shift, or for the 2-3 shift. The reverse lockout could be eliminated. kzbin.info/www/bejne/hKaxgKuKmd6LnJI

Good job on the video. The TCI Outlaw and the B&M Pro stick use the same detent plates and both can be accidentally shifted from 2-4 with a 4 speed detent, or from 2-N with a 3 speed detent installed. I make custom detent plates for many factory GM shifters to convert them to slap shifters for racing. I had a request to improve the Outlaw and the Pro Stick and it works great. I have 3 and 4 speed detents and you don't have to squeeze the trigger at all to make positive upshifts. You may like this. kzbin.info/www/bejne/b4vNlKBsm9tjr5o
