Do you know the output voltage that goes to the pins to the main board? My backlight turns on, I can hear it working, but the TV screen comes on (backlight) but it stays black. I measured 9v on some of the pins from the power supply to the main board but should they be 12v? I have the TCL 55S403 tv that uses that power supply.

My wife was watching and it went black but was still playing audio. Was able to get it to turn on once more but same thing happened again after 5 minutes. Mine has power to light up the status light on the bottom when plugged in, but won't turn on for picture. Power board the likely culprit you think?

Mine just died. No light, or anything. But no pop when I turned it on. No sound. Tried to unplug and mess with the buttons but doesn't work. Help! Could it be same issue as yours? OR even the power supply cord?

Mine is the 75". I replaced the power supply board and still no luck. When I press the reset button however, I am getting the front indicator light to blink once. Any other ideas what it can be?

Mine keeps turning on and off. I’ve tried hard resetting and everything except for changing the board out. If I change the board out will it fix it?

I made this repair to my 75" TCL for same issue and it fixed the power issue but now when I power on the tv, it blinks (not flickers) from menu screen to,black,,menu screen to black about every second. What could this issue be? any advice would be helpful while I got this thing apart. Thanks

I don't no if it went bang lol usually fall asleep and the tv turns itself of ik you don't press ok when asked if still watching had the tv 18 month only been the last 2 month left it on standby and now its dead would be ideal if the board worked still pretty crap that it has came to this so soon seems to be a hard board to source 55pc615k

Never pull a circuit and then unhook accessory. Unhook stuff first!. If your power board has failed, 9 times outa 10 you have bad capacitors which will be doned on top or a redish brown substance that has leaked out. If you heard a pop, that is probably the capacitor going out.

After all I found that TCL TV is always WASTE and No VALUE FOT THE MONEY. I NEVER FIND IN MY LIFE A BLUNDER TV LIKE TCL. I PURCHAISED 55 INCH TCL TV WITHIN TWO YEARS ITS GOT FLICKER PROBLEMS AND THE POWER SUPPLY GONE IN MY 55 YEARS LIFE I USED MANY OTHER TV WHICH ARE VERY GOOD EACH ONE USED MORE THAN 7 YEARS 😢😢😢

I can’t thank you enough. I almost bought another TV before watching this video. Just as this video said, it was as simple as the power board. I bought a kit off of ShopJimmy in case it was something else. Swapped out the power board, and good as new!
