Hi your reviews are awesome . Small thing, out of the two, which radio has a good sound with bass. I want to send a gift for my father. He is blind. So he prefer good sound with bass. Thank you

My i box Epoca has frozen whilst trying to connect to a db radio channel. Is there a hard reset on these things?

I don't think it has (unlike the Attune which has a reset pin on the back). Though you may wish to know that I think I've just bricked my radio testing out various key combinations to see if anything would perform a hard reset. DO NOT DO THIS ---> I pressed the Power and Menu button for about 10 seconds and the display flashed 5 times or so. Now the radio is completely dead and won't even power up!

Micro USB, what the HELL were they thinking? Nobody uses those anymore because they were so flimsy / unreliable. If they update this ridiculous choice of socket I would be interested in buying one.

Yes. It just shows old board designs that presumably haven't been revised in years because they don't need to change. The problem here is that they do because micro-USB is not only a poor choice but also massively dates a product.
