I laughed way harder at the cold open than I really should have. lol So I finally ordered the core box for this game (yay). I'm doing a quick review of these expansions. - In retrospect, would you say it's worth it to track down the recurring nightmares / suppresed memories expansions? (seems like the newer big boxes are the better investment)

MoM and lotr JIME are the best tabletop rpg I’ve ever played! I’m hooked

I like MoM a lot better than JIME, however. I really have an issue with the fact that they don't have individual scenarios with Middle Earth. It's what I love about Mansions of Madness.

@@TheDiscriminatingGamer Not at all. The expansion isn't playable without those scenarios so they're not free, they're part of the cost. I mean, I love this game, but it's really, really expansive at 20$ per scenario.

@ The expansion includes far more, however, including new tiles, new figures, new tokens, etc... So, it's not as thought each scenario is truly $20 a pop. I suppose it's just how you look at it.

Mathieu Chevalier : Vidéaste you seem to be struggling with the very simple concept of “downloadable for free”. Is there an actual charge or additional fee for these three scenarios to be downloaded...no. The core game retails at approx 80 for only four scenarios so is 20 per scenario, this product is priced at 60 for three scenarios so the cost is the same. I fail to see the issue. Anyone contemplating purchasing this will already own the core set and would have decided if the investment is worth their cash and based on the fact that the scenarios work out at exactly the same cost I don’t think it will be an issue for those that enjoy the game. It’s clear that discriminating gamer was informing us that once you have purchased this add on to the core set that the downloadable scenarios are “free” as apposed to being charged for like the additional scenarios for the core set that are being charged for. Simple....right?!
