TDLX or BMan, which one makes you feel more glorious?

I didn't catch where you mentioned the signal chain. Is this through the cab emulated direct output or did you have it going through a power amp of some sort?

@@truthhelps2012 with the SYN5050 power amp, a Marshall cab and a Cascade Fat Head. All are located in the next room and I monitor on Adam A7X's.

TDLX has that wide incremental range of throaty, gritty, quintessentially tubey break-up, which I prefer between the two units, especially when paired with a Strat. The BMan on the other hand offers a harder tube effect, which elicits the prototypical origins of Marshall voicing. The BMan coupled with an overdrive and humbucker might be a great tough-sounding and percussive alternative for classic and hard rock.

My first amp I played live with was a fender 50 watt head with a 2(12 cabinet. Sadly a tech stole this beauty and the owner of the store gave me a hiwatt 50watt head. Sure miss that bassman but loved the hiwatt to.

The BMAN instantly had the specific low-to-mid gain Marshall sound I found lacking in the plexier modules. It's my Malcolm mainstay.

The Synergy Morgan AC module is not much like an AC 30 (and it is not meant to be, as Joe Morgan has his own criticisms of classic Vox circuits). Personally, I would rather have an accurate Vox module akin to the Synergy 800 and Synergy TDLX modules.
