The guy in the black and white striped shirt that seemed nervous is wonwoo. None of svt is nervous really wonwoo is just quiet (+they didn’t do a lot of his rap verses). Also something to note is sadly Wonwoo’s mother passed away right before these promotions. So he was understandably pretty down in the HOT promotions (shows, interviews, etc they did when they released HOT)

There are four foreign members in seventeen: Vernon moved to Korea from New York at a young age and is half Korean (father), half American (mother). Joshua was born in LA and both of his parents are Korean. Jun and Minghao are both Chinese and were born there but came to Korea😌

@riri no worries for asking :) the confusion comes from that people don't know the difference between ethnicity and nationality. ethnicity is where your ancestors originally were from and influences how you look, nationality is a legal status of where you were born or where you live. so you can't inherit nationality from your parents, that is you can't say that vernon is "half american" you're right that it isn't that big of a deal but so many people use this logic to say that vernon "looks american" when they mean he looks white/mixed, which kind of implies that they think americans (USA) are ethnically white people or that white people are only found in america (instead of europe where they are originally from) LOL worse, when people keep insisting that vernon is american and ignore his korean side it annoys me because he literally grew up in korea and is more culturally korean, it's just his looks that make him look like a "foreigner." you can compare it to joshua who is definitely more american than vernon but doesn't get the same comments sorry for the long reply, this topic really peeves me but hope that makes sense 😊

the dicaprio dude is mixed, half korean half american, he's been living in korea since he was 5, so he naturally grew up learning korean, and since he still talks to his mom and the other american member in english, he can still speak it. The one who actually had to learn korean and still doesn't do much songwriting in korean, is Joshua, who went to korea when he was 17. He still writes, usually with vernon and in english. 2 minus 1 is one of them and it's fire.
