TheDailyWoo hey Adam, I found you by accident about a year ago and subscribe to your channel immediately. life is full of ups and downs and yes people think they have entitlement. I guess all's I am trying to say is that your videos are the best. when you were in Florida I used to stay up until about 4 a.m. just to watch your videos. Sometimes they're good sometimes not so good. But that's life. Some days are great and some days are not so great. Brother, I encourage you to keep on doing what you do because that is something you enjoy. and there are a lot of people who enjoy going where you go and I am one. If a friend said they needed new work boots, and I gifted them (Christmas/Birthday) money for those work boots, yet they take that money to the tavern/bar, then yes I wouldn't be happy. I also wouldn't give that friend another dime, ever ... next time I would just buy the boots. This issue is all about the intent in which the money was given. Those who gave as a kind gesture are okay with everything ... those who thought they were helping fund an adventure across the states in the RV are the ones who feel duped ... I am neither of those.

Good service, enjoyable music at a restaurant/bar, a valet that's brought your car around, a cab ride when it's over. They should have been donating because they like the content they're seeing. If the content becomes something that's no longer anything they want to tip for, then stop. By your analogy he didn't ask for money for work boots and go to a bar. HE BOUGHT WORK BOOTS. He just moved back to California a week ago. Your analogy implies that he NEVER traveled in the RV and has been using the money for things that weren't what was intended. What?! How is that being duped when all he's been doing since last year has been out on the road again? I've never left a post for you on KZbin. I have watched everyday for 2+ years now. Never missed a daily vid you put on KZbin. Your like my friend I get to see everyday for 8 to 12 minutes usually. What Adam does is a job. It's his life, his career and his passion. Donating money to the man that provides you with endless entertainment on a daily basis shouldn't be something to cry about. He deserves the money, the positive energy and the growing support. I've watched his videos since the very beginning and have always hoped that this journey of his would continue to blossom into something bigger. With hundreds of new subscribers on a weekly basis, it's safe to say that his driving force of performance and showmanship is increasing in popularity at a steady rate. I'm hoping for the best for Adam, especially after finally settling into a home base. It's a shame that there are people out there who donate to someone and then expect something in return. I try my best to be a giving person and to be grateful for those around me. You should all be grateful for what Adam has given you. The guy is putting his blood, sweat and tears into keeping up with a daily channel where there are no breaks, no off days and no settling down. With the guy moving to Hollywood, he now has an even bigger chance for exposure and is in a place where there is an insurmountable amount of content to capture and film. I'm super excited to see what happens for him. I still think he needs to start doing movies (acting in them and possibly writing/directing his own) because he's hilarious and original. The people that make it in Hollywood are the ones that stand out and are unique. He is all that and then some. Wishing the best to Adam and his future endeavors. Although Patreon might be over, that doesn't mean this saga is over. Heck it, maybe that was meant to happen. A lot of things in life happen for a reason. I bet there are some big things brewing up that even Adam won't see coming. Can't wait to see this new reality unfold. P.S. It truly is a shame that people are so mean and terrible to strangers for no reason. I think that trolls and people like that watch the news and laugh at all the misfortune that befalls others. I like to hope that these are just teenagers trying to "have fun" but the sad reality is there are plenty of adults. I have only had a couple trolls but I've seen my friends with their channels and the disgusting things people do and send to them. I think I'm going to officially decide in my head that these people are mentally challenged because normal people don't take delight in pain of others. Hopefully I can remember that when it happens more to me and treat them with the same care I'd treat anybody with.

Adam. Your head seems to be in a weird place. May be due to the stress of moving which psychologists place on the upper echelon of stressful events. But I do not believe you are processing things correctly as of late. You are not beholden to anybody. Patreon is a fantastic tool for those to show appreciation and help support the continuation of your videos. At any point that a person no longer wants to contribute they can immediately withdraw that support. Same with any other service or product that one pays monthly for. Furthermore you are doing these adventures as a full time job. Just because you are doing a job you love doesn't mean you shouldn't be consempated. Personally I hate ads. So I use ad blocker. So Patreon is a way that I can actually pay to eliminate ads but still support those who i've receieved at this point days worth of content. Your comment section seems to have been overrun lately with negativity. Its a weird online phenomenon that happens to apparently the best of them (and you are the best). I'd encourage you to reach out to your other youtuber friends for support because i'm sure they've gone through this nonsense before as well. Or better yet realize this is just the fake reality of the internet. The terrible negativity people like to inflict isn't reality. They are a small subset who get off on causing pain and torment and really consider it a win when their efforts get recognized. It may be hard but the best things to do is ignore them and channel the Adam the Woo 10 years from now. Do you really think your future you will believe that this spree of negativity in your comment section really actually mattered or was a big deal? It may feel like a big deal now but it really isn't. This will pass. If you need to ignore the comment section for a bit. And just get out there exploring all the things that you do. It's really amazing how much joy you both have and then instill in myselfs and other viewers in exploring and examining just every day things you encounter. It makes me view things in my own life in a new way. I spend so much time being distracted and busy that I don't smell the roses. You make me realize there is so much satisfaction, joy and entertainment around every corner if I just start looking. You remind me of that with every video. So thank you for that.

I do not contribute on Patreon but just some small math. 535/137,000 subscribers = .0039% of the subscriber base is actually donating. That is less than a percent. I am not a Patreon, but I don't see it as a problem. I understand the apparel is different, because if someone pays for a hat you owe them exactly a hat. But a tip is based on what has already happened. I mean you wouldn't expect your waiter to come home with you and do your laundry. Wow.Folks he doesn't owe you anything and by doing this that's what he is saying even though he is too nice to say it. What is a disturbing problem is that youtube has no way of protecting its content creators(you know the people who make youtube possible) from the vitriol that is spewed by people. First off lets set this straight, Adam is not an e-begger. In the early days of his channel he marketed himself thru his t shirt sales, and quite apparently did(does) so very effectively. Look at what he was, a bass player in garage bands, they learn to do whatever they can to promote and fund THEMSLVES. Its old school self promotion at its best and provided a tangible asset for a fair amount of money. Hopefully he will expand on this model and maybe expand it to other things. Say downloadable paid content, paid subscriptions on another media carrier, sales of things like stickers, hats, autographed pictures etc there are a ton of options. He has disliked Patreon from the beginning and for one I am glad he got rid of it for his own peace of mind. Hopefully he will look into some of the things I mentioned above and take his self promotion to the next level. He has an incredible work ethic and will be just fine.

Hi Adam, I've been watching you from the start. I basically, "live vicariously" through you. I wish I could ride along, I have always wanted to do exactly what you do. With that said, I think I have maybe commented twice, because I'm a bit shy. People can be mean, and say things here that they would never say to someone in person/face to face. You don't owe anyone anything, please forgive them, life is tough, and don't take those hateful words, as how we all feel. I can only speak for myself, but I do believe the majority of us/your real subscribers, enjoy watching you and contributing to the "tip jar" when we can, no matter what the subject of the day is. Embrace change, life is boring when every day is exactly the same. As far as "E-begging" I'm sure they don't realize just how "hard" you work, and how much it costs you to make these vlogs for them. What you do is not by any means, "begging" it is, for sure, "entertaining"! If people want to help support what you do, let them. Think of it like this - haters, are the friends that only come around when you have money and use it to do what they want. Adam you don't need friends like that. Hang out with the rest of us instead.

German Cervantes Exactly! I never even knew about the patreon thing. I've been watching Adam for about a year now and I never heard him ask for money, subscriptions or thumbs up. Why are we focusing on the few negative comments?? What about all the good comments?!

I look at the Patreon donation as simply paying for entertainment....and it's a better value of money than cable TV or the movies.
