A few years back, I was lucky to go to the Drake for high tea as a birthday surprise from my family. It was such a lovely time. The Palm Court was breathtaking. The video is lovely, but it doesn't do it justice in the slightest. It's so big and airy and feels so magical. Their teas were so fragrant and the sandwiches were insanely tasty and everyone was so attentive and sweet. It felt like stepping into fantasy novel. Also it's not mentioned in the video, but they seriously have the fanciest bathrooms I have ever been in!

Somebody stirred their tea in the wrong way. You never stir it around, you push the spoon side to side, so your spoon doesn't clank on your tea cup and make a bunch of racket. That's considered rude. Lol
