I have said it before, but you really are the best beginner (maybe more, I’m not ready for higher level videos) teacher online. The more I explore the internet, the more clear this becomes. You have a gift, thanks for sharing it!

Thanks Kevin for this tutorial. I am Belgian and, after hearing this song for the first time, I immediately bought the LP deja vu in 1970 (I was 15 at the time). Most people here got to know CSN&Y through Woodstock. My favorite Graham Nash song remains Chicago. Thanks for all your video lessons.

Thank you for taking a step back. Like another commentor, I am not ready for intermediate level ukulele tutorials. But, I love learning to play a relatively easy song that sounds good when well played with an interesting bouncy strum pattern that I can play well. I do not remember the exact moment when I first heard this song. But, I was young living in suburb of New York City. I always loved the music of this song & the lyrics. I did not play a musical instrument at that time. I did not even dream that many years later I would be able to play this song on my ukulele.

I heard that song the first time I was harvesting tobacco on a field in Prince Edward Island in Canada. I was in a pretty hippy dippy mode at the time. Loved it and still love CSN+Y!

Love all CSN or CSNY - husband introduced me in the 80’s and have loved them ever since. Thanks for the tutorial, even I think I could have a go at this, thanks

I'm not really a beginner anymore, but I always pick up something from your beginner lessons, Kevin. Usually, it's stuff I've learned unconsciously, just in the course of playing, like pre-positioning for the next chord, sliding instead of lifting a finger, rotating your wrist a bit for extra finger room, or the critical importance of finger placement relative to the frets to avoid buzzing. But it's good to hear you address these things directly, because it reminds you to think about them consciously when tackling harder stuff. Thanks!

Started playing the ukulele during the pandemic and find it's the best time spent and getting energized! Found you, Kevin, some time last year and very much enjoy your teaching, so relaxed and helpful with tips about how to change fingers etc. Never heard that song before, but like it. I'm in Ireland.

Hi Kevin; My older brother was really into CSNY when I was a young child. So I grew up loving their music. I recently went back to listening to their music thanks to the recent interest in Laurel Canyon. I would love some Neil Young play alongs

Thank you, you seem to be the only one that used the CSNY Strumming pattern keeping it pure. 💕 But, I believe it starts D, G, D, A instead of C, F, C, G7 - maybe you adjusted it to your vocals?

Hi Kevin: Kay Winton from Hayward. Thanks for this simple one. I like the strumming. I sort of needed something simple. I have been with you a year and just started to find the old songs my father used to play on his uke. My mother and father would harmonize to You are my Sunshine and Till we meet again. I love the Roy Forbes song (I think that's his name). "Your song is lifting my heart", but I can't find the chords. I found the Lyrics, but all I find is D, A, Bm.. Can you help me find the chords. If you could write it up for me I would be happy to send payment. I have been with you a year and am very pleased with your lessons. Thanks so much. It has been so hot and dry here, I have to water my gardens all the time.

From reading some of the comments, it seems like this song did not get a lot of airplay outside of the States, which is a shame, because it is a great song. Thanks for a great lesson, Kevin! Here’s a link to the original for those who are new to it. kzbin.info/www/bejne/aKfRin6Ilsh-h8U
