Hi Stu!! I absolutely love this song. We play it lots in one of my ukulele groups that I teach at the seniors centre. Yes, I was definitely at Woodstock. CSN & Y were one of my favourite sets from then. They were incredible. It was certainly a much different time, then. And like their song, I "(Almost) Cut My Hair" except that I did and for the same reason that you are cutting yours. Their music just keeps getting richer and richer and more meaningful. @@UkuleleZen thanks so much Stu. But it's been a good ride. My daughter and her husband clung to each other and it has bonded them like crazy. If a child is going to have cancer, leukemia is the one to have. Idk about others, but she had zero pain and ,being an only child, soaked up the attention. The whole thing was a fun time for her and all her caregivers just loved her as she is a social butterfly. She is good and still young enough to be a kid for a while?

Ha ha, Stu, you’re killin me. Our band, Ladies of Uke started doing this lovely song late last year. We don’t have that nice little ukulele break though…..yet. I gave Locks of Love my hair a few years ago. It’s very rewarding, and it does grow back.

Woodstock was in the middle of August and my baby was due in the beginning of September so nope, I didn’t make it. (It was all I could do to get out of a chair.) I was there in spirit though and have been ever since. ❤

Then you should look into the so-called Longneck Sopranos. They have the Mensur (lenght of neck) as a concert ukulele but the body size of a sopran ukulele. In fact they are small-bodied concert ukuleles, as the length of the stings dictate a lot of the sound. I tried a Millar one. Very nice tone and built - but I missed the punch and tone of the Sopran scale.

I love soprano sized Uke and I enjoy all sizes of Ukulele… I don’t have time to make baritone lessons, and I don’t plan very much… I usually play classical guitar 😉 happy new year and happy jamming!
