Thank you for this video! I really needed it. I’m a full-time theme park performer, mom, and wife. While rewarding, neither my job nor my husband’s role as a first responder provides a luxurious lifestyle. With only my phone and an old laptop, I decided to take the leap and start. I love editing, but doing it all on limited equipment is tough. It took me three weeks and several full days off to complete one video, and I was a bit discouraged. Thank you for inspiring me to keep going!

This is a great encouraging video for new KZbinrs, and maybe not sovnew KZbinrs as well. The one thing I will say is stay encouraged! Some of you may not be monetized within 6 to 7 months the way she was, but it’s OK. Please remember, journeys look different, and sometimes you have to do more of a marathon than a sprint. In my case, it took two years for me to get 1000 subscribers, and another six months to get the 4000 watch hours. Through perseverance and prayer, I received about 2000 more subscribers in 2023, but received almost 9000 subscribers this calendar year! Now I’ll be going into mysixth year, and with almost 13,000 subscribers, I’m beginning to really see real growth. The bottom line is, your journey will look different, but it’s your journey. Don’t compare yours to anyone else’s, and just continue to focus on that which is in your heart to do. Merry Christmas, happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa, and any other holidays that folks celebrate.
