I just want to tell you how inspirational you are. I know you get this a lot on KZbin and Instagram, but I found you searching for ideas for my classroom a few months ago and I’ve been watching them in order from the beginning. I’m a new teacher, also in Florida. I started last year mid-year taking over another teacher’s 12th grade English honors class, and I got two months in the classroom before I had to switch to distance learning. This coming school year I’m teaching 10th grade English standard and honors. I know you know how big of a change that is, and I have no idea what I’m doing, and really, no one else seems to either. Every time I start to stress about everything, I watch one of your videos. You are always so positive, even with everything you’ve been through, and you remind me why I love what I do, so thank you!

Ms. Brittany, Yesterday was my birthday and I enjoyed my special day. In all its simplicity, I managed to find happiness. I have just entered the fourteenth year of my life. I started watching your videos when I was twelve years old. I obtained many books for my birthday including Emily of New Moon by Lucy Maud Montgomery, The Paper and Hearts Society series by Lucy Powrie, Othello by William Shakespeare, and The Tenant of Wild-fell Hall by Anne Bronte. In New Jersey, we have plans of learning virtually, while still going to school occasionally. However, there is so much uncertainty and I am simply relishing the present moment. Ive been back to school for a week so far, my country is doing great so far, some places are still doing virtual learning but most schools are reopened. My school doesnt allow airconditioning, windows must be opened now for airflow so ive had less options to wear as wearing a mask while teaching + no airconditioning is SO HOT.

Don't give up, a lot of places don't even start hiring until August or even September. My district has been known to hire as late as November. I subbed a year and it got me in. Plus, subbing I did work almost everyday. Just don't give up.

First of all, I LOVE that mauve color of the last shirt... it looks amazing on you! Secondly, girl... I have NO idea how you wear all those long sleeves in FL!
