Can I ask how you feel about social distancing restrictions in schools affecting kids mental health and social development? It’s my biggest worry about my son starting primary school. He is such a social, confident and affectionate boy and I’m so worried how not being allowed to hug and play with his friends will affect him. Also being taught against everyone he’s known about sharing etc. It all sounds so un natural and affection-less. We live in Scotland so he won’t be starting until August when hopefully the restrictions won’t be so bad.

Hi there ! I can see why you’re concerned . Like you said I’m hoping by the end of summer things will have eased . As for the time being it is very difficult keeping little ones apart as you can imagine. But of course his (and any) teacher will make it as ‘normal’ and non scary as they can ☺️ xxx
