Omg! That activity is so cute I will be using as a ice breaker/ beginning of the year activity. I hope my 2nd graders love it! Modified of course.

It does make a difference when you look at the camera, not the view screen. It feels more personal. Thank you for even thinking about that, because many You Tubers don't do that and it is quite disconcerting. Isn't it lovely to have a neat work area? Now and then I get so overwhelmed with the chaos that I do a thorough clean out - only to have it messy again within a couple of days as soon as work starts to be prepared, then handed in. Drives me crazy!

I wrote a "Fortunately, Unfortunately" story in 3rd grade and my mom laminated it and I still have it! Lol. I think I'm going to incorporate that activity into my Restorative Circles this week :)

Oh, that's sweet. I think you should do it. I incorporate a lot of activities that I remember from early school years. I say to myself, "If I remembered 20+ years later, so will they."

I LOVE that "Fortunately/Unfortunately" activity - AND I have just purchased the Imaginarium book online. Can't wait to look through it. Is the sheet about creating their language in the book or did you make it? This is a perfect way to develop a story because the kids always have trouble adding details and developing settings and characters.
