Re the "boys fighting with a code of honour" thing, I'm a teaching assistant in the UK, and one of the most popular teacher training manuals says that fights between boys are usually posturing that gets physical because both are marginally more afraid of looking like a coward than they are of being hurt, so they usually (not always) box at a distance and are secretly delighted when a staff member intervenes and gives them a face-saving reason to back down. They will adhere to the code of honour both because it's still mostly a chest-beating ritual and/or they're just buying time until the fight can end without being too embarrassing and don't want to provoke the other into really going for them in the meantime. When girls go beyond verbal and get physical, it's because they've gone completely berserk and are REALLY trying to hurt the other, or are defending themselves from someone who is acting like a wild animal and they're genuinely terrified and fighting desperately. So yes, boy fights are (generally speaking, of course,) more honourable, and girl fights are truly vicious. That hideous story about the French school shows what happens when a boy really does "fight like a girl", and the results ain't pretty.

A year or two after I left high school, my younger brothers - who both attended the same school - had their school on lockdown, had SWAT called in and the FBI due to a gang war that took place after school let out. My old high school was pretty rough in terms of some students. I went to a school that was known for weekly if not daily fights, so when we heard on Facebook that there was a big fight on campus, no one was surprised until the details came out. Someone posted the video here on KZbin years ago though. This was the same school in which we had a bomb threat my sophomore year, and a kid in my chemistry class junior year made a list of people that he planned on killing in a school shooting. Two of my classmates were on that list. That same student wound up arrested a few years later for sexually assaulting a girl.

One time in Japanese class this kid called me a wuss for not liking wasabi. This kid was the second tallest in the whole grade, after his twin brother. And he was super aggressive. So anyway, when he called me a wuss I called him a fatass. He then proceeded to pull my chair out from under me. So I got one of those small whiteboard things and hit him twice in the back. He got super pissed and was screaming and crying and hit me back with another whiteboard right on the tailbone. Neither one of us could walk more than 15 metres per minute and because this kid lived like a 2 minute walk from the school, he just walked home, which is what he does every time he gets in trouble. And then the next day we were friends again lol

My mate once had this really weird fight, this girl poured her full water bottle over my friend and my friend goes to push her. Well this girl hit my friend a few times. Only weird part is my friend gets to the safety to report it, and the first question they ask is if she wants a glass of water. At least in her pain and anxiety she could still see the funny side of that though, made me feel better. Also have been taught by someone who at a previous school was threatened by a pupil with a staple gun. And another time, this lad had been kicked out our school, ended up managed moved to my friend's school. Well apparently in a weird fight, this lad had someone empty a fire extinguisher onto him. Would have felt sorry for this lad, but he picked on literally all the lads in our class.

Here is a funny story from the school I went to. We had just finished our A-levels and everyone was super extatic. There was a party at school. I didn't attend, but the next morning I get a text from a friend with a news article. You see, there was a construction site next to the school. And on that construction site were lots of tools and heavy equipment. Guess what, some idiots from my class had decided that hijacking a bulldozer was a brilliant idea, and they mowed over a bench or something. They also climbed on top of the school roof using the construction scaffold and damaged stuff there. I think the school pressed charges and people were arrested. So when we all were given the final goodbye by our principal the next day, he was less than extatic.

I go to a decent school but a lot of the kids come from rough neighborhoods. Once as I was getting on the bus, I walked by two boys having a verbal fight, just calling each other profanities and all that. Then after I got on the bus, I noticed everyone looking where I’d just walked. I found out a fight had broken out, but was quickly stopped by somebody who works at our school name Damingo. I don’t really know what he does, but he used to be in the army and he deals with bad kids and is called in to break up fights. Also one time as I was walking to class after lunch a fight suddenly broke out and this kid shoved another kid into some metal things. Again, Damingo broke up the fight. I don’t even know how he got there, one second there’s a fight, the next there’s a gigantic black guy dragging the kids to the office.

The school had the FBI and shit investigate, and compared the threat to everyone's English assignments for handwriting. This guy never did any work, but he had actually done his homework, and they found out his birthday was the day the bomb would supposedly be detonated. This guy is not a violent or dangerous person, but he is an absolute mega idiot. The most dangerous thing he owned was an airsoft BB gun, no chemicals, no gunpowder, not even a lighter. He thought bc it was a "joke" he would just get suspended. He was in jail for a few months and had to go to the reform school until senior year

"But I went into his personal texts, and sent them to his family I know could possibly harm him, and then someone gave me a good beating!" So who's the guilty one? The boy that was rightfully cheating on a horrible person, or the girl who purposefully ruined the boys relationship with his family and got a good beating for it? Now. I know some people will think I'm sexist or something, but if the boy did that to the girl I'd support the boy getting beaten up too.
@princedorado63685 жыл бұрын
There's no such thing as "rightfully cheating". Yea, she shouldn't have gone that far and should've dumped him. If he didn't want to be with her, he should've "stayed single". Clearly, he was good at keeping it a secret so he probably would've been fine. Both were in the wrong.
@princedorado63685 жыл бұрын
@Jaylynn Holmes Of course what she did was worse, but there is never a good reason to use someone for your personal gain. Based on the story, yea she probably did suck. Did she really love him? She could have. We don't know. Not excusing her actions, but, in the end, he did play her. If that was his intentions from the being, you need to make your intentions clear or things like this can happen (though this is an extreme case). I'm sure he could've had a friend play along with him and no one would be hurt. IN NO WAY AM I EXCUSING WHAT SHE DID!!! What she did is put his life on the line. There's no way around that. Her revenge was over the top and should have not happened.

Obviously our cities police had to show up because there is no way the staff could break it up. Lunch had to end early, and once it was all said and done, 3 kids had to go to the hospital and 2 staff members were injured. The school sent out a massive email to the entire district and it's parents about the incident (note my district is pretty big, 21 schools and over 25,000 students across like 3 cities). I'm still not sure about the punishments that resulted from it but I figure that it's a lot

I’m not a teacher and fyi this story isn’t “the worst fight” because it was dangerous or something it was just because it’s plain sad. There’s this kid in my class and he starts so many fights (for no reason) but whenever he gets hurt even if it’s a scratch he will come running up to the teacher and starts crying about how we “hurt his feeelings” or “hurt him” and this happens weekly so we just ignore him at this point. Even the teachers are fed up. So one day out of the blue this kid walks up to me and tries to punch me and then when he missed he tries to throw a fucking rock at me. I shove him away, he falls and then starts to cry. A couple teachers who were watching this happen just ignored him. He noticed that the teachers weren’t doing anything (I don’t know why they ignored him because they usually intervene but maybe they got tired of his bullshit?) and he quickly stands up and starts screaming at me. I’m just annoyed at this point and kicked him hard in the shins and walk away.

Not a teacher but, one time a kid (let's call him R) was hitting on another kid's (let's call him B) girlfriend, or was harassing or talking shit about her I was told several different sides of the story. Anyhow, during breakfast in the cafeteria, B pulls R into a headlock, slams his head into a table a couple of times so hard that the table is pushed out of the way and B ends up slamming R's face into the tiled ground a few more times. A teacher comes in and breaks it up. There's blood everywhere, on the floor, on R's shirt and on his face. R walks away with a broken nose, and B gets suspended. Everyone, including me, hated R, so we all felt like he kinda got what he deserved. Also this entire thing happened directly behind me, and I only noticed when my friend, who was sitting across from me, pointed it out. This was in my freshman year. A year prior, I saw another fight again in the cafeteria, but at my middle school this time. I was walking to the cafeteria for lunch, and I was running late because I got held up by a teacher who decided to make us stay after class because these kids were being loud. In middle school, we had this thing called fresh air where everyone had to walk around the school before we could eat lunch, so almost everyone else was already outside, aside from a few others. When I got there, 2 guys looked like they were in a fight, except the one of the guys was a lot smaller than the other, and the smaller one was beating the hell out of the smaller one. I overheard the smaller one saying something along the lines of, "You told them I cried you son of a bitch??!" which I thought was pretty comical. The kid had done this before and ended up getting expelled, and the kid getting beat up, because he was much taller than the kid beating him up, walked away with only a few nasty bruises.

I was in the room and I was terrified tbh. Me and Kid B ran out and trapped Kid A in the room, it took the two of us and someone else to shut the door on him while another person went and got a teacher. It took THREE adult teachers to grab Kid A (who, mind you, is probably under 5 feet tall) and take him to the office. That was a crazy day.

Teacher here. Worst fight I had to break up almost ended in me having a heart attack (chest pain, difficulty breathing, the works). 2 girls had fought the Friday before, but were for some reason not suspended. Guess who had they the following Monday first thing? Lucky me. As I prepared students for an assessment, I noticed the one girl approached the other (who had told me to keep her away from her). So I stepped in and told the girl to go to her assigned seat. She refused, said she only needed a minute. Told her we cannot start the assessment without her in her seat and signed into her laptop (many students needed this assessment to pass the marking period, and I felt turning the class against her was a safer option than just me). As such, the class followed up, telling her to just take her seat and they could talk later. Girl grabs her laptop and moves to the seat right next to the girl. At this point I get annoyed and walk over to them, standing between them (the one was standing, the other sitting still), and tell her she needs to move back to her assigned seat. I put my arm in front of her, as a way to get her to go to the other side of the room (which has always worked before), but instead she pushed my arm away and said this was being settled here and now. She then tried to push me away but I wouldn't budge (for reference, the girl was actually slightly taller than I am, and in JROTC, so she was no skinny girl by any means, she had some muscle on her). It reached a point where when she attempted to push through me, I had to physically restrain her to avoid getting hit myself as she was throwing her tantrum. The other girl who had been sitting there silent the whole time snapped, screaming about how this is gonna happen right now, and flipped her desk over. The class is just sitting there in awe of what's happening (no one had a phone, I had confiscated them all). The girl who was initially silent now screaming attempted to take a swing at the girl I was restraining with all my force, and in doing so, slapped me across the face. My glasses hit the floor and half the class jumped from their seats to help me. I threw the girl who slapped me into her 2 bigger male friends, who then both restrained her, while I still held the other girl in a bear hug. I screamed for the teacher next door to call security and get me help. One student dove to the floor to grab my glasses so they wouldn't be stepped on, while another (I didn't know at the time) ran out to get security. The two guys dragged the girl out and administration came in to get the other girl who I was still restraining. After letting her go, she attempted to chase the other girl but the admin let out a large howl at her and she stopped immediately. The girl I held back was allowed back only on the final day of school to take missing final exams. The other wasn't allowed to return until the following year. The one who slapped me apologized profusely while crying to me when I had to step out of my room to give a statement as another teacher watched my class. She felt really awful about it and it killed her to know she struck her favorite teacher. The other girl apologized for doing it in my class during the last day. I still see them both on occasion. For a short while, they somehow even became friends. I always remind them of what they did to me. What they don't know, is the aftermath. After returning to class, my chest began to tighten, and I had difficulty breathing. I sat with my eyes closed at my desk for at least 15 minutes. Apparently, no one even tried to cheat. They knew I had been through enough, and didn't want to add to it. For some reason, administration never thought to send me to the Nurse to get checked out (even though I had scratches on my face from being hit). I'll always be a bit salty over that. My health and safety was the bottom priority for them, and it was in that moment that I truly felt it. I've broken up 5-10 fights over the course of 5 or so years of teaching. I've had a nasty habit of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Guy fight was the easiest break up ever. After the big dude took a swing, I hopped right in between them and when he saw it was me, he stopped. He had a lot of respect for me, and didn't want to risk harming me over a kid who owed him money. Girl fights are horrifying and usually end very poorly. Every girl fight I've broken up has just been so nasty.

At my school last year a kid got mad at then other for not giving him drug money and threw him out a window. It was on the first floor but he had some cuts and a broken nose. The other guy that wanted the money back got suspended and arrested for assult and had to pay for the window.
