The Problem with these feeding stations is that they force put the materials to the max of the weight limit in the gacha, so you have to look inside the gacha to actually see how much it is consuming to produce a crystal. sry for my english, i hope its understandable ^^
@averydawes75103 жыл бұрын
Very informitive thanks for putting in the work. Ultimately probably not changing what I use. a lot of these things while they might produce faster its not worth spending the time to craft them in your inventory. If anything maybe pipes or electrical because they are small/fast to make and you don't use your inventory for rafting them personally I use raw metal. its like 3-4 times faster than stone. Also the quality of the resource matters for determining how much they need to consume as well. gachas consume metal at a much lower rate than stone. while i'm sure foundations produce even faster, when factoring so much more resource harvesting time and crafting time it just isn't at all worth it.
@Imae08I3 жыл бұрын
I agree 100%, i used war maps in the past... results was great, same with electrical cables... but after a couple of days you realize YOUR TIME is the most valuable resourse in ark. its not worth to stand crafting war maps on your inventory or wait for metal to cook in order to craft electrical cables. What i do is a standar metal run 50% to the forge and 25% to each gacha (yeah, only have 2). About Y seeds tho, i know is worth... but personally i hate building the crops area and watering all lol, just a personal issue.
@ABigBlueMarble3 жыл бұрын
My gachas are picky eaters, some like sand some like cactus, if i put both in gacha inventory, 1 will eat sand first other eats cactus first, but after putting them in cryo pods and throw em back out, they changed flavors, the sand gacha would eat cactus first lol and vice versa, podding them seems to make them happy again if you have a sad gacha.

I always grow tons of plant z and y near my gachas. Y traps and Z fruit cost poop, courtesy of dung beetles, which means all your mats do too, and after a while you end up with unlimited gates you can feed them or just build with. I throw everything except the best loot into the industrial grinder, so just piles of metal ingots/poly etc every time I tend to the gachas. With s+ you can automate everything using transfer control units, item collector/aggregator, vivariums (filled with snow owls, so the pellets come from owls that don't get hungry or need to eat.) farmer and gardener, crystal cracker, dedicated storage, a keypad and one tek sensor to activate everything.
@graphite74733 жыл бұрын
All I have to do is occasionally walk to my grinder, which triggers the tek sensor, then hit 'grind all'. As long as I get to it before it's full (200 slots), the crystal crackers don't get backed up (they don't open the crystals when at/over their 400 slot cap). Crystal crackers already have built-in transfer to dedicated storage, but I set a transfer control unit to do it from the grinder and added the crackers there for good measure. Otherwise, there's a unit sending plant z/y fruits and owl pellets to the gacha gavagers, another one that moves all the weapons/armor plus structures I don't want to accumulate (like water tanks or war drums) from the crackers to the grinder, yet another one that pulls the dino/behemoth gates and gateways to separate storage, this one might pull tree platforms early on until I have a few saved, but they do give lots of mats so later on they go to the grinder. If I really need a bit more metal to finish off something, there's always stacks upon stacks of metal dino and behemoth gates ready to grind.

I tried one nite playing with food sources , bc generally I just land my flyer after a tour of the map and dump all the stuff I don't want like clothes low grade tools etc just dumping the unwanted weight with out going to the effort of producing food for gacha. So I always have snow owl feeding it poop. But the one nite I tried stacks of spoiled meat after using all the narco berries I had grown to use up all my spoiled meat. So I fed my element gacha like 5k spoiled meat and I got a decent amount, he had nothing but owl 💩 and spoiled meat I manually feed him instead of my usually land and dump
@xnickanix3 жыл бұрын
One thing your quick research didn't include was the proportion of items vs resources the gachas produce depending on what they're being fed. I used to give y traps to my gachas but they produce very little resources and tons of items and when you're dealing with element dust gachas, you want element to be produced, not the other way around. One common resource that was pretty effective when fed alongside snow owl pellets was raw metal. They take a while to consume the whole thing up but at the end of the day, I was producing nearly 1k element (around 900k element dust) per day using only 6 element gachas. In my opinion, giving craftable items is not very efficient because it takes a lot of resources and might be time consuming.

Hi official here, i did with warmaps first, works, but long time to craft. After stones is ok. Raw metal seems to work best i think, because you get more runs per dedicted storage, and you use tek leggings to carry up to 300 stacks. For 8 gachas about 21k stone or 6k metal every half hour. Stone and metal pumps out 50k dust every 30-35 min equal.

In my humble opinion, if you have to farm the resource to feed your gachas you might as well just farm the resource they are producing instead. As goes the only real viable way for getting 'free' resources is plants Z and Y, reason being you need to do some work with your initial setup but once you have farms going you just transfer and harvest crystal... there is no farming at all. while I appreciate the effort on this video, I find the methodology horribly flawed and well removed from practicality. With a Gacha's crafting skill leveled to about 160 on lvl 17 - 29 Gacha's, and using owl pellets, it doesn't seem to matter what you feed them at all, Stone, Seed, Thatch, fiber, structures, they all produce at the same rate and at the same value per crystal. With that notion, why would you waste time and resources crafting anything to feed them, let alone the bother of growing and harvesting Y plants? I level on the western slope of metal mountain, so stone and seed are easy to get, and with the new Stryder, super easy to get into dedi boxes next to the Gacha/Owl towers. I was doing seed until WC nerfed them by giving them a spoil timer, they were easy enough to get with a bronto/iquanodon combo, but since the seed nerf, I just went back to stone. No crafting required, stone is a resource I need for pretty much nothing, so the Gacha are the only thing that it gets used for anyway. It's just how I do it, to each their own. 😃
