AUTOMATIC GREENHOUSE Guide! How To Get Unlimited Berries With Sir 5RM8 Farm!!!

Used this guide to set up a few Sirs around the base. One harvests my crops and deposits them into refrigerators, one grabs Fertilizer from my vault and deposits it into Crop Plots, and one runs around the base harvesting rocks for stone, flint, and small amounts of metal. The stone and flint go into the Chem Bench for Sparkpowder/Cementing Paste, and the metal goes directly into the Ind. Smelter. It's been working pretty well, but I found sometimes the Sirs will take all of the fertilizer out of the crop plots instead of depositing it, thus killing my crop. But other than the occasional oopsies it's been working really well. Last time I looked in my refrigerators, I had over 300 Plant Species Z. Time to get a Yi Ling!

So ive started unofficial (plus limited hours) and i have already gathered enough black pearls etc to create one of these (on a server that ONLY allows character transfer for 4 weeks) and i got to say, i am glad i bought bobs tales, while i havent used these bots yet i HAVE used the gene extract function on a baby, there is so much stuff (and i havent even touched on the things back from scorched earth) having originally being against buying bob tall tales NOW i highly recommend it (essentially as its currently on sale!) Scorched earth may not have convinced you....... but you will LOVE the addition in aberation.....WC have finally done something right!!!

Teach, is it possible to get a survivormate to collect achatina paste from snails, and put it in a dedi? or collect items from dino inventories in general

Mine just runs against my wall on the greenhouse and trys to go to my crafting area which is a good distance away from my greenhouse

Thanks for the video. In my experience, I have not needed to add the item as input in Sir-5rm8's inventory. I simply allow the items to be withdrawn from somewhere and add them as inputs in my preferred container. Besides the actual crafting, you can probably get them to nearly automate your farming and related manufacturing processes, which is especially useful with narcotics. You can have them harvest seeds, and add them to a crop plot alongside fertilizer out of the compost bin. When they are ready, the robot can grab the berries, place them in a chemistry bench with some spoiled meat it took from a trough and after they are combined, put them in a storage box somewhere.

The only downside I've found about automated Fertilizer is when I tried do it, the Sir 5rm8 would take the fertilizer out of the crop plots and put it back into the composter or storage box. Is there any way to fix this from happening? Because my Sir has killed numerous crops from doing this so I just set one to automatically harvest the crops and threw the other back into storage 😂

​@nauticalgaming2256 Usually, Sir-5rm8 only does this when the same input exists in two different containers. Firstly, you should check if this is the case. If so, either set the compost bin inputs to only thatch and feces - not fertilizer - or lower the input amount. For the latter, have the max amount set in the crop plot and only a stack or two as input in the other container(s). These two options usually fix the issues, but otherwise you keep fiddling around it because that is how I learned!

I’ve done this many different ways and I can only get him to put them in the fridge once or twice then he will leave the berries in his inventory or won’t do anything at all

What i did with my robot farm is have the crops hugging the wall because the robot kept getting stuck on the rows of crops its like he sees them as part of the floor and not a thing to walk around when there stacked

@@urbanoperez9238 if you make a green house cart you can enable automatic transfer of items to trophs and when a bery is grown it will be put into the trophs automatically it works with veg and berry

I'm trying to automate my greenhouse as well but I don't want specific bots taking fertilizer from a vault and putting it into the crop plots. I have not enabled fertilzer as an input on the bot but it still keeps taking it. Any reason why?

If you have more than 1 bot in the radius bubble of another, they mess up and try to do each other's tasks.

I think Ab has some kind of bug with spawning stuff and the rendering distance. Last night I noticed in the blue zone nothing was spawning for hours the blue zone was almost bare

I had a bug in Aberration that eggs were incubating on the ground, without air conditioner, nor nothing else. It worked even with Drake Eggs.

Had a Sir-5rm8 simply cross a river by walking along the bed (the bottom), so it should at least be OK underwater

He is making individual guides for each function. Yes it can farm. It has Resource Mode, Butler Mode, and Repair Mode. This mode in video is part of Butler.

Tbf, this bot is completely animated and moves about the base which is what causes the issues. the mods just all happen in the background with nothing physically moving.
