Big love to my gym Garage Jiu Jitsu Bondi for letting me get some teaching experience in at only Purple belt. Techniques aren't perfect but they're components of what I am working on myself in training. oss.

James has such an amazing ability to teach things. I could watch him teach about something I have zero interest in whatsoever and I just find myself listening intently and enjoying learning about it.

Some people just have that ability to teach and break things down very well. I’m 10 weeks into bjj and I feel like I’ve learnt a couple of things from this video that I’m excited to try if the chance presents itself 🥋

I appreciate the berimbolo technique from quarter guard mate! I watched your competition video just a couple of days ago and thought it was a really sweet move!

Unless the player knows how to finish arm bar with high % I like to attack that head and arm that presents itself when transitioning from the opponents back escape. I feel when the player has the "gift wrap" grip and understands how to apply pressure with the head and arm it is a good option.

I feel like that first pass could be done with an ankle/foot/pant grip as well. Would limit the ability to turn in and recover guard I reckon

I try to be careful with training partners when jumping into guard passes
