My kid has a civic and we did this together recently. I like that cabin filter location, super easy access making it a breeze to change the filter.

I leave that thing in there until I sell the car. Can’t tell me the air I breathe outside the car is dirty just because you can collect it on a pieces of paper glued together. What a penis growth serum scheme.

Good to see Mia back on the channel! Her face when you said her car is neglected 😂😂 Nice one getting the plug out without any oil on your hands! Sometimes you can get lucky and spin the filter all the way off with one good flick too, try it sometime! it's a cool trick until it drops into the oil pan and splashes everywhere hahaha.

Maintenance is everything. So many people never even change the oil or transmission fluid and then curse the car when it breaks down on them all the time and is costing them thousands in repairs that could have been avoided. If you have really dirty injectors you can also use BG44K or Cataclean.

0W-20 is not a water oil but a modern synthetic oil prescribed by modern car manufacturers. And yes, higher performance machines use it too.
@KaylaRundle Жыл бұрын
It’s not actually water. It’s just so thin it has a water consistency haha

Hi Stopped by, Just a comment, Rubbing Alcohol from the store 80% and put that in the gas tank. If you have any problems with the catalytic converter bringing on the check engine light will fix it. Last bit NAPA oil filters are made by WIX so there are no internal plastics parts.

You need to show her how to buy a better vehicle. That "Jeep" is based off the Fiat Compact Platform (Fiat Vlaggio/Ottimo). From top to bottom the parts are Fiat. Same for the "Jeep" Renegade (which is basically a rebadged Fiat 500L/500X). There is a reason why Fiat is down to only selling one model in the U.S.

Thanks Kayla! Your Civic filter looked like it was an aftermarket/oiled filter and may just needed a recharge. Believe it's recommended to add additives to the tank first then fill it up and run to close to empty. Your car changed colors again 🤪🤪

I do enjoy your videos! But I will strongly suggest not to just hand tightening the oil filter. This is one important item, if loss will kill your motor in seconds. Hand tighten and then go at least a half turn to a 3 quarter turn passed hand tight. Which usually requires a tool. It's not worth ruining your engine over. Their is no manufacture or mechanic that going to just rely on hand tight. Oil filter companies have installation spec's on the filter and the car manufacture has spec's on torque values just like torqueing a cylinder head. Slim chance your the exception and have extremely strong hands! I've have had many lube place's leave me with a loose filter, not good at all.
