I love how you taught your mom how to groom her Schnauzers. The preparation is so important for your dogs as they are not used to their mom grooming them and they think they can get away with anything. You did a great job teaching your mom. You are the best teacher groomer. Thank you so much. Helene

@@GoGroomer you know I just love you and your fabulous hair for like forever! And the fact that you’ve been helping groomers be the best they can be for years? Speaks volumes about how much you love this crazy work we do!! I’ve actually never known any groomer to share everything they know, even down to how to put a blade on correctly… I’ve been grooming for 62 years now and these younger ones are our legacy… it ends with us if we don’t share our experiences and knowlege with them… no matter how new techniques are these days? There will always be the basics and humble beginnings that to me? Are the guts of dog grooming… thank you from my heart♥️🙋♀️☮️🐾🐾

Hi Amy ! You're mom is so sweet. When starting out , changing the blades was no problem for me. ......however.....getting those guard combs on the blade was another story ! 🤣🤣🤣 You're a great teacher. I don't have that talent. I connect & have patience with animals ......people......not so much ! 🤣😆😆🤣

This is excellent! Thank you!!! I've had to wait for my husband to come home to change out my blades. How can I bookmark this so it comes up fast when I come here? 😃

When I first tried this on my Km Cordless, I managed to get the blade off, but the blade lever stayed down 😅. Thankfully Wahl has a video showing how to pry it up. Why does the clipper need to be on before a blade is pushed down?
@GoGroomer2 ай бұрын
So the blade Drive can seat side of the blade properly.

Higher means shorter. Lower is longer.

Hi, ive been watching your channel lately, cuz im going back to my last job as a dog groomer. I was working there only for couple days, but ive seen something that still bothers me :/ Also, im going back in 2 days. Im being teached by a experienced groomer, she is working there for a few years now. I noticed her aggresive behavior towards me, and then the dogs. Her attitude is like: you need to dominate the dog or it wont let u work! we need to be faster! Shes holding them pretty tight, and ive seen her slap the dog on its head or yell, cuz it didnt want to stay in one place. One time, when i was calming down the anxious dog, talking to him very softly and patting his head, so she could work with him in peace, she attacked me by yelling: "you are here to work, not to pet the dogs!". It was clearly calming for him, but ive had to stop. Then he started to dance on the table, and she was yelling to hold him tight. Shes always making pressure on me (and the dogs) to work faster and dont be so gentle. We have 2 hours per dog and we often finish before deadline. I was wondering if i can do something about it and what do u think? Im very empathic to all animals and i have that "something" that makes them trust me. I hate people who are like this and i feel very bad for the doggies :(
