Tips for 3 year old twins with a speech delay? They began with a twin language of their own combined with lack of social time with kids their own age. Mainly because of my husbands job we move often so no family and friends that we do have their kids are much older. They have been seeing a speech therapist since February and recently had a tongue tie release.

Hi Laura, do you have any tips on how to get your delayed toddler to say yes or no, verbally and via gestures? I have been having a tough time getting my 21 month old to signal or verbally tell me she wants or does not want something and throws tantrums when I don't understand what she wants. Your input is greatly appreciated.

I have Building verbal imitation skills and teach me to talk. If I have those books, do I need teach me to play with you? Is there a big difference? Thanks
