Is it possible to plant C grade stump .... I bought some teak stumps from a nursery consisting girth with below 3 cm.. is it possible to transform it to a A grade girth by planting and adding more manure to it. Or it's a poor quality ..

What is the reason for not planting the saplings directly? I tried it, and it worked. Success rate is bout 75-80%

To increase growth rate. Ppl are happy to have 50% success rate or less with stumps. But they save few years for maturing.

In case of the forest department, the sapling needs to transported to plantation area. Carrying sapling is difficult in large numbers.
