You will never convince me that Chris Judge did not ad-lib that word on the fly and they just kept the first take.

I know. I was just re-watching this episode. I am like he must have adlibed that.

I remember watching behind the scenes. Chris Judge was responsible for naming many of the Goa'uld and Jaffa stuffs things.

My thoughts exactly! They gave him an idea (peter delouis) and thats how it came out and they kept it. Works for me!

The best product always, ALWAYS comes from actors who are enjoying the process so much that they put a bit of their genuine selves into it. So many ad-libbed lines have become genuine classics.

Part of why the show worked is that they took the show seriously, but never took themselves seriously.

Spelling this word... (According to the Stargate Wiki:) "The Tacluchnatagamuntoron is spelled several different ways in the Stargate canon, with the subtitles for Deadman Switch and Stargate SG-1: Roleplaying Game naming it "Tacluchnatagamuntoron", Stargate SG-1: The Official Magazine naming it "Takunitagaminituron" and the glossary for Stargate SG-1: The DVD Collection naming it "Tac'unitagamunition". It is unknown which of these spellings are correct, though the unofficial GateWorld Omnipedia also uses "Takunitagaminituron" while Kate Ritter's Lexicon uses "Tacluchnatagamuntoron". It is, however, worth noting that the original name for the weapon was probably written in the Goa'uld language, and would probably be translatable into English in a variety of "correct" ways."

This is also the same language in which “Kree” can mean so many things.

@@Razuki5 There are words like that in real life. In Japanese there is this word 掛ける (kakeru) which can mean erect, hang, spill, sit, hold, fasten, argue... and probably 20 other things I forgot.
