this film pokes fun at the leftists and right wingers, but its funny that leftists are the ones making the most noise about it. @MaestroTJS9 жыл бұрын
Nikos V Trey Parker and Matt Stone have often observed it's the people on the left who get the most offended at their jokes because they feel that political satire should be on their side. Leftists make a career out of being offended by anything and everything, even getting offended on behalf of people who couldn't care less, so it shouldn't come as a surprise.

fools, this is not arabic, but ancient Sumerian from the time of Sargon the Great (2270 BC). Didn´t you people learn it on second grade?
@antonk63598 жыл бұрын
Sargon was Akkadian, bro. And Sumerian was an isolated non-Semitic language, Sargon would not have spoken it.
@rogerpenna8 жыл бұрын
I never said Sargon would have spoken it. I said it was Sumerian from the time of Sargon the Great. The Akkadians conquered Sumeria, but Sumerian language and population were not simply erased (specially as Sargon was the first Akkadian emperor after the conquest of Sumeria) It means this version of Sumerian was late sumerian, as the language and culture started to fade due to Akkadian influence and rule.

Underneath all the silly portrayals of foreign cultures, Team America makes fun of/criticises the US more than any other country. In fact, seeing as the non-American countries are _supposed_ to be depicted how an American would see them, the US is really the only country this film actually pokes fun at. Matt & Trey are phenomenal artists and I don't exaggerate in the slightest when I say this film is a satirical masterpiece.
@anannoyedpanda Жыл бұрын
Missed the point of the movie. It shows how US has mistakes, but overall everyone needs us as much as they hate it. Even countries need to be policed, and we do it the best. Without us, things would be MUCH worse internationally.
