Not new to RC but new to 1/8 scale buggy racing. I love you channel. AWESOME

1/8 rc buggies are my favourite of any type. They are so fun to drive, fast, jump well and they just look cool driving or displayed. I am planning to get one of these and build it over the winter! Great channel and video

I just got my B4e about a month ago. So far it handles a lot better then my old JQ and I’m feeling more confident. I’ve heard the lrc c and d blocks help a lot with traction and stability

They all run they here in NZ the young kid from our track has just them for his buggy.

I think they didn't reverse the diffs because they ultimately want their car to be competitive in the hands of the pros, and the pros are able to handle the instability and quick turning

You should look at the video done by JQ racing on pillowballs vs c hubs in 8th scale currently. The c hub geometry philosophy in that of cars like the kyosho lends itself to more stable driving, more specifically on how the car handles on power.

I have this buggy and the TLR 8ight XE elite and in my opinion the TLR buggies are easier to put together. I had some of the parts in incorrect bags for my B4e from the factory which got annoying but I'm planning on taking it to Loganville RC to see how it does.

This is some great serendipity. I've liked your content for quite a while, and I'm just getting into 1/8 4wd buggies myself, and just last week I finished my RC8 B4e! My first race with it will be tomorrow. I look forward to learning from your experiences in addition to mine!

It's funny to me that 1/8th scale is tougher than 1/10 scale. At the track I go to its built for 1/8th scale and I've seen way more 1/8th scales break than the 1/10th scale stuff. A lot of people tend to overdrive 1/8th scale vs 1/10th scale from what I've seen.

On durability; I’ve tried taking a Slash out to my local 1/8 track, and it was brutal. Multiple breaks every attempt. I finally broke down and built an RC8 B4e, and I’ve been so grateful for its durability. I launched off a jump poorly and hit a metal pillar that holds the roof of the building up. They have padding around the base of the pillar, but I hit it several feet in the air above the padding. I rang the entire building like a bell, and after inspecting the car, I can’t even see where it hit!

Love your channel. My first car was the gold bathtub chassis RC-10. Cool to see Associated is still doing what they do best.

I am looking to switch to this from my 21 xray xb8e. The associated parts are less expensive . I wonder how the car drives compared to the rc8b4 ?
@RoachRC Жыл бұрын
Since both are pillow ball cars with saddle pack systems I'd say fairly similar. Though yes parts are much less expensive.

Good Review. Been racing my b4e for about a month and half now. My first 1/8 buggy and only one i've ever driven. It's done well for me. Only complaint is i've had to replace the wing mount twice but I think that's my driving/crashing to blame.
