nice tip on the bearings. the b5m I just ordered had some extra parts...one of these is a gear differential, and ceramic diff balls. I'm curious if I should expect some problems with the differential given these extra parts are thrown in...

You have two different types of rear diffs. One is a gear differential which has sealed up planetary and sun gears inside. The other is a ball differential and has ball diffs in it. Now depending on what kind of diff balls are in the ball diff determines how hard the diff is to properly adjust. Steel diff balls are the easiest to adjust. Tungsten carbide are a little harder and ceramic are the hardest. The advantage is that each set of ball diffs are machined to better tolerances as you go. So steel balls are the least true meaning circle next is tungsten then finally ceramic balls. The more true and round they are the smoother and quicker the diff will be. But also the hardest to adjust properly. Almost all serious off road racers on indoor high bite tracks use ball diffs

I know Jason at rc short course builds them without gaskets and said they don't leak. Looks like yours did. Did the gaskets seal the deal?

How do you like this buggy I had the rc8.2e and want impressed, so now I'm racing tekno truggy and buggy but I'm partial to associated and want one of these bad

I like Team Associated because of all the different companies making parts for them. I love this RC8B3e. If you are wanting one I would wait until the 3.1 comes out and just get it. But it is a great buggy and I have noticed that Team Associated seems to keep up with fixing issues in there kits. If they become aware of it.
