18:21 These diffs are super strong. I land on throttle all day long, and it has never been a problem in 3 years. Just watch the diff access panels. If they come loose, you'll hear the grind. I've found slightly longer screws going up from the chassis into the diff access panel are very beneficial to not allowing that panel work lose.

Question for you and @JasonPerrinRCVlogs, what lipo packs y'all running in your MT8. I've got a reedys 4s 4000mah 35c, temps even across the electronics 143 and a hobbypower 5s 5100mah 50c temps good on esc/lipo but motor hits 159 after a run. Should I change the pinion out for running the 5s?

Very capable machine. I really don't think you need to worry about breakage with this truck. I totally agree that you really don't need to dump money into this truck or the MT10. Stock parts are excellent.

I was thinking the same thing about getting this truck, I do have a MT10 and I love it but now because of this video I just going to get this truck. Amain got this one on sale now for 349.00 is on backorder but I don't mind to wait for that price. Love your videos ✌

I've been enjoying mine quite a bit. I did break a front carrier about my 5th run but the landing wasn't pretty lol. Upgraded to the redcat aluminum carriers but kept the plastic hubs in to see how they'll hold up.

That's how I run my front hubs aswell. The screws that go from the carrier to the hub from the factory are kinda short in my opinion. I found slightly longer screws are very beneficial there and help prevent that inner hub from breaking.

@@captaincouldverc appreciate the tip, I hadn't even thought about that. When mine broke I lost the screw and the bushing so I just replaced the screw with the same size and ordered the bushing kit. Now I need to check my bin for some longer ones lol. Did you just go 1mm longer?

​@@neelo7596 If memory serves me correctly, it was more like 3-5mm. More than likely closer to 3mm Just keep an eye on the inside of the inner hub. Be sure it doesn't poke through. You could stick an allen wrench in there to get a better visual of the needed length.

because everyone trying to compare to duperbash except most people can’t drive and don’t practice put th e work in before sending , so these guys were testing on those levels or even purposely like KT so of course going break and arrma traxxas TC back off race performance for sending knuckleheads , this truck still has more of the original racing designs, all you need” to become a awesome driver , if you’re really good than you add T2T brace if want push limits but guys want push limits without full control

I still haven’t ran mine yet , thing looks so good as ta shelf queen and I run arrmas to the ground n become not worthy even being in the house anymore . The simplicity and abundance interchangeable parts makes the arrmas cheap in the long run , traxxas makes things easier but your not getting preciousness performance we get from race based designs , thinking about getting the Asuga today but ohs probably doesn’t have the roller and there on sale . Might just buy the red cat guy 300 bucks I keep nice like you do , .tinker “ n go through 4s outcast . Look redcat 300 , I need wheels body some wear parts is it worth still left with well worn truck but Jason I agree , this truck MT8 is awesome looking designed truck that got over looked . One I’m not going to run into the the ground ,
