Welcome to the official Laver Cup KZbin channel. Laver Cup Berlin 2024 runs from September 20-22 at Uber Arena. The tournament takes place for the seventh time and features some of the best players in the world. Björn Borg captains Team Europe, consisting of Carlos Alcaraz, Grigor Dimitrov, Daniil Medvedev, Casper Ruud, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Alexander Zverev, Flavio Cobolli (alternate) and Jan-Lennard Struff (alternate). John McEnroe captains Team World, consisting of Francisco Cerundolo, Taylor Fritz, Thanasi Kokkinakis, Ben Shelton, Alejandro Tabilo and Frances Tiafoe. Team Europe’s Vice Captain is Thomas Enqvist and Team World’s Vice Captain is Patrick McEnroe. Team World are the reigning champions after winning at Vancouver 2023.

To be honest - who cares ? There will be periods where Europe wins more , then Team World or USA will have times where they will win more........ Olympics or FIFA WC or any other country based competition , it's a bit gimmicky , don't get me wrong , i still watch. But usually countries who traditionally love a certain sport more - will succeed in said sport , especially team sports. In individual sports or Olympics in general - obviously the bigger industrialized countries with bigger populations , more children born every year , bigger talent pool , more money invested into sports programs and facilities ( and ' magic potion ' laboratories 😉 ) will win. At the end of the day , it is all a distraction , but pleasant at that. Let's be good sportsmen & sportswomen ! ✌❤🎾⚽️🏀🏐

Horrende Antrittsgelder für alle Spieler!!! Sportlich ohne jeden Wert!!! Der Laver Cup gehört definitiv abgeschafft, dafür alle 4 Jahre einen Vergleich zwischen Europa u. dem Rest der Welt über 1 Woche ohne Antrittsgelder!!! Das wäre eine tolle Geschichte mit sportlichem Wert für alle Zuschauer + Spieler!!! Ganz wichtig auch: Ohne verschiedenartige Punktesysteme!!! Denn dann hätte heute Europa keinesfalls gewonnen, da Team World viel mehr Begegnungen für sich entscheiden konnte!

Tennis calendar like FIFA Football is already way too full !!! So i say no to the week long idea !!! I also disagree - why should they play for free ? Not even in the FIFA World Cup they do this ! In terms of tournaments and ATP tour , United Cup ( NOT Laver Cup ) should be abolished. ❌☝️ Reduce the number of Masters tournaments - looking at Shanghai & Paris & Cincinnati. ❌❌❌ Laver Cup should *complement* the role model Ryder Cup in its off year. ☝️ Laver Cup doesn't need to be held every year. With the point system i agree , every day should count the same ! Davis Cup should only be every 4 years btw. Last but not least i would get rid of the ATP Year End Finals alltogether. ❌ But that's just me.
