You picked up on the fact that they all varied quite a bit in length and how elaborate they were. I think it was deliberate: the introductions are there to show the potential player what's appealing about playing each character, so a character with immediately understandable appeal, like the scout or heavy, doesn't need much. Whereas, the medic, whose appeal is amplifying the team and turning the tide, and the spy, whose appeal is outsmarting the other team, need an example so someone new doesn't immediately bounce off because they misunderstood the mechanics.

Also keep in mind that the order they were made. The earlier ones were typically the shorter and less elaborate ones. While the later ones like medic and Pyro are much more elaborate.

Actually the Engineer said he could teleport as much bread as he liked, only after 3 days of that was when Engineer and Medic realized that was the only thing that caused a problem but was too late, hence why soldier said "You told me to."

A few fun tidbits about the TF2 folks: 1) The soldier has never been in the armed forces. He found some random military uniform while escaping from a mental hospital. 2) The spy is the scout's father, so yes scout's mother is the top of spy's fan club. 3) The heavy is the smartest of them all and has a doctorate in Russian literature.

My favorite facts of the TF2 universe: 1: Spy is scouts dad. 2: Abe Lincoln was on of the first to rocket jump 3: Scout ranted about himself for SEVERAL HOURS with all of it being useless, which is why he's video is short. 4. Yes there is an actual cameraman that recorded all of this in universe. 5. Medic has tried to heal Demo's eye, multiple times. Each time it would become a boss during spooktober.

Abraham Lincoln wasn't one of the first to rocket jump, the first people to rocket jump was 300 years prior, when Shakespearicles first invented rocket launchers, rocket jumping, the USA, and the two-story building. What Abraham Lincoln did was invent stairs, but unfortunately, before he could propagate his invention, he died tragically in a rocket jump related accident.

I'd argue that Spy, Engineer, Heavy, and Sniper are the most sane. Pyro, can't tell. Heavy, likely sane. Soldier and Medic, definitely insane. Scout just has a few screws loose.

1:21 I don't play tf2 due to a bad pc but I believe scout has a weapon call the force of nature and if I remember it has a lot of knockback and apparently if you're jumping it can give you a boost

I have good news for you, if you have decent internet connection you can streaming on Geforce Now. You can connect to Steam and play the game use their server to computing the game then send it back to you PC. I think it's about 10 dollars per month depend on region, I am on Singapore server so the price only 10 SGD.

Pyro when playing as him doesn't by default have anything special for his worldview but there are items that apply a "pyroland" effect that changes some of the things like items, death noises, and kill messages to be more like what he sees and such.

6:00 not by default, but it can! there are several cosmetics that allow you to see supported maps from the pyro's perspective, the most notable one being the pyrovision goggles as it's one of the easy to get achievement cosmetics. there are a number of changes in pyro vision that will happen regardless of if the map you're playing on has a pyroland version such as rainbow fire, cakes instead of health kits, no blood, etc

The scout does have double jump, but does also have a weapon unlock, called the force-a-nature, that can give an extra boost when fired at the ground There’s also a cosmetic called the Pyro Vision goggles that is based off the pyro trailer, as well as a flamethrower unlock that is supposed to be the one Pyro uses in his trailer

There's one guy we know nothing about except that he's the scout's father (Spy), one guy who's emotionally unavailable and has a bad relationship with his parents (Sniper), one guy with eleven PhDs who seems to be lacking in self-preservation and doesn't move a muscle when he's being shot at (Engineer), one guy who seems fine although he can't express himself well in english (he does have some russian literature degrees tho) until we see how manic he gets when mowing down enemies (Heavy), one guy with a god complex and also an affinity for violence (Scout), an alcoholic with only one eye who is in charge of explosives who seems to have been dealing with some issues of not fitting in (Demoman), then there's a crazy scientist who very obviously never swore a hippocratic oath or received any sort of medical training and was raised during a... darker time in german history (Medic), a crazed wannabe soldier who started his career by murdering civilians after WW2 ended in the belief it was still going on and that he was killing nazis, before then receiving lead poisoning for decades (Soldier), one... creature whose age or gender don't matter because they are so schizophrenic and delusional they believe they're doing good and having fun with others when really they are committing mass murder and setting everything on fire (pyro).

Funny thing but Soldier fought in Germany during world war 2. He took a tril to Germany and got his own weapons as the army rejected him for insanity related reasons. Which doesn't help given that he ended up affected by lead poisoning from the contaminated eater
