I really do love Ghetsis. His personality, evilness, the fact that there’s no way to understand why he is so evil (unlike other villains that have some tragic backstory to explain their evil ways), his concept, HIS SOUNDTRACK, everything. He’s such a well done villain and that’s why him (beside N, of course) is my favorite character of Pokemon.

same!!!! hes so well written and his charecter design, themes, soundtrack, ect are some of the best among pokemon in my opinion. tho, i would definetly shove this weak old man off a cliff if i daw him in real life. i probably could. the entire right side of his body seems to be injured in sone way. has an eyepatch, cant seem to open the right side of his mouth properly, never shows his heavily discolored arm, and walk with a cane. in the animation where he literally slams his cane down in rage he breathes heavily afterwards, like the action tired him out. hes the only pokevillian to genuinely scare me a bit, yet hes probably physically the weakest

He though pokemon and people couldn't coexist do to Ghetsis manipulate method was only letting N see pokemons injured by people. He never knew about Ghetsis true intentions and how the world worked in general, he was basically an ignorant but he never was a villain.

I always loved Ghetsis as a villain due to how detestable he is compared to the other villains. Giovanni seems to have an honorable streak, and has even aided the heroes on a few occasions in PokeSpe. Archie and Maxie are well-intentioned extremists. Lysandre and Cyrus, who both tried to end the world, are tragic villains when you look into their motives, and Cyrus has been redeemed in both PokeSpe and DPA, and his dialogue here seems to tease a future redemption in the games as well. Ghetsis? Just a flat-out sociopath. And maybe disposed of N, given he's using the Legendary Dragon he could never obtain himself. (He alludes to N, so I take it he still needed him to become the hero. Question is if he murdered the poor kid or merely imprisoned him, but is threatening him to ensure the Dragon's loyalty.)

It's hard to write a villain you hate. Ghetsis was really well done in BW, and I'm glad they did him justice by making him Rainbow Rocket's highest boss. He was even trying to manipulate Giovanni when summoned here, and even almost got his victory despite losing. They did his character perfectly

In black and white, Ghetsis team is built up purely so he can beat N’s team with no sweat. Ghetsis was planning to attack N when he won against us, so he could take Reshiram/Zekrom from him and rule and be all powerful. In the universe this Ghetsis comes from… he’s done exactly that. And I’d think he either locked N away for further uses or just straight up removed him from the equation by killing hin. And also the mc.

Maybe Oliver's idea could become reality if we get a different Ghetsis in future appearances of Team RR. This Ghetsis could be from a world where he failed in Black and White, but not in Black 2 and White 2. Like in the latter games, he should replace Bisharp and Bouffalant with Drapion and Toxicroak. If he can have a team of six Pokémon, there could be one game where he has Eelektross as his fifth non legendary, and the other could have him using Seismitoad instead. In one game, Black Kyurem could be his legendary, and in the other, he could have White Kyurem. Because this idea says Ghetsis had to bring in Neo Team Plasma, he should have his Black 2 and White 2 outfit, and even his cane.

Also in BW you were only limited using regional pokemon. In BW2 you demolish his all team easily. You literally one shot every other pokemon of him but the hacked one.

i think ghetsises charecter was written really well. i could go on and on abt how much i love his charecter (how it was written, i would shove him off a cliff at any chance given tho) but ill Try to keep it short. he was one of tge only pokevillians to genuinely scare me. hes 100% fine with murdering anyone who gets in his way and he has attempted murder multiple times. he directly threatens the player, not just their pokemon, vut their life. in a game where one of the messages is not everything is black and white i wpuld have loved to see ghetsises backstory and reasoning (not a redemption, thatd be way too forced) behind what he does. like, what happened to the whole right side of his body?! hes missing an eye, in all sprites of him he cant seem to open the right side of his mouth properly, he never shows his right arm and its very discolored the one time uts shown, and he walks using a cane, which suggests one of his legs is damaged (probably right if we go with the other injuries. tge cane could be explained off as him just being an old man but i doubt it). but i get why they didnt. he has a specific role, to drive the plot and provide an actual threat where n is more sympathetic, and he does this very well. some little details i really appreciate is in his theme (all 3 versions i literally adore) theres a heavy use of drums. who elses theme uses drums and sounds suspiciously like ghetsises? fucking arceuses. the mam literally sees himself as a god, and its futher solidified by the chanting of his own name. also, he tries to manipulate giovanni. fuckin giovanni. hes so sure of his greatness and is clearly not afraid to show it. i probably failed in keeping this short, but hey. i usually rant on for much longer. im autistic and adhd and pokemon is one of my special interests, and ive always loved villians. gen 5 is also just my favorite gen. sorry for wasting the time of whoever the hell read this. also sorry for the typos, i type very fast when im excited

As much as I love Ghetsis as a villian, I don't think he would have won here haha. Simply because of how Giovanni runs Team Rocket compared to Ghetsis running Plasma. I just don't see Giovanni taking the bait of Ghetsis. Plus how is Ghetsis gonna deal with Giovanni's Mewtwo?

Oh I had a hard time beating Ghetsis in Pokemon Black Version and Pokemon White Version. He beat me like six times in both versions but I didn't give up.
