Ruby woo brightens and lightens your features, brings out your eyes more. But Russian red is also a lovely colour on you! Definitely warmer toned on you though! I'd go Russian in the winter and ruby in the summer

I work at Mac and what I always say is that Russian Red is a very glamorous red (perfect for Christmas & New Eve) however, Ruby Woo is more of a vibrant red, more rock'n roll I think, it's perfect on pale skins. Overall Russian Red is my pick and would be more flattering on darker skin tones.

Ahh, MAC’s classics!❤ I remember in the 00s when I lived in Madrid, some girls who worked on a MAC counter giving me a brand new Russian Red in a bar (the bars of Madrid…it’s a whole culture! ❤). I ended up putting it on girls in the loos, and that is when I learned the power of a good red lipstick. Most especially one girl - she was pretty, but not really noticeable had no makeup on…and after she walked out?? Omfg…it was a combination of the confidence (I love feeding it in people so it was a double-dose, haha) and the red itself but suddenly, EVERYONE was looking at her. Incredible! Ruby Woo suits me better tho, personally. I like both here! I agree with the person who said RW for summer, RR for winter… I put a comment on the (or one of? Idk!) one by someone saying they could see no difference and I have to repost it here: Wow! They’re so different! We definitely all perceive colour differently. It’s true that they’re even more different irl, but you - ok, no, lol, but it can be seen here. Ruby Woo is pinker, brighter, Russian Red imo warmer tho some people here are saying cooler. Idk if they just mean darker, it is, but it has less blue so warmer in my book! It looks brighter as she’s first applying it…a Try taking a screenshot and look at the difference in her face as well as the colours, if you really want to see it!! ❤❤❤
