As a Swede, I would say that the forward side looks the weakest. I had removed Elias and brought Backlund instead. Elias has lost it completely. A healthy Landeskog had been given but is unfortunately still out of action. If I had been the leader of Sweden, the line-up would look like this Forward P, Forsberg - M, Backlund- Zibanejad W, Nylander- V. Olofsson- A, Kempe L, Raymond- Marcus Johansson- J, Bratt V, Arvidsson-L, Carlsson-N, Höglander Extra: Elias Pettersson E, Karlsson - V, Hedman A, Larsson - R, Dahlin O, Ekman-Larsson - G, Forsling Extras: Jonas, Brodin Goalkeepers L, Ullmark - J, Markström P, Gustavsson Pp line Zibanejad- Backlund- Bratt P, Forsberg - Hedman

Not having a top 15 defenseman in Ekholm in the team is nuts. If anything, Karlsson is the one to scratch. He will add nothing but defensive liabilities. Btw, Backlund is not getting anywhere near a 1C or 2C position. At best he'd make up a checking line formation with either of Lindholm/Karlsson/Eriksson Ek

Its Filip not Peter Forsberg. Inte en chans att Backlund är första center, inte ens chans att Olofsson är andra. Jag tror inte Adam Larsson eller Marcus Johansson är med. Nog större chans att Nyquist eller Janmark är med. Rasmus Andersson eller Ekholm, Brodin tar Larssons plats.

Our forward-group is the weakest we have had in a long time. Especially since Landeskog is injured and both Elias P and Mika Z are not playing good hockey at the moment. If they don't step up I think Sweden will have zero chance to win this tournament. 😒 And yeah, Joel E-E needs to be in the third line, at least. And Backlund should make the roster.

@MrFelixify yes ofc but that is only two and they are d-man. they need seasoned centers and wingers aswell. it was obvious during the last world championship where we was beaten by the chezh players. we where the best team in the tournament skatewise and and we had the best d-fence but we lacked in routine and grit.
