Hello just giving some positive criticism. You guys should upload on KZbin at the same time you post the podcast on your website. Also Lia Block should be mentioned in the title like most other podcasts that feature a guest. For example: "With Lia Block" or "featuring Lia BLock" Something like that. Otherwise I know you guys are new to the podcasting stuff and so far I love it. I hope you guys read this. ❤

Audio tech here: Make sure they all are basically eating the mic. The mics that they're using (Shure SM7B) pick up best when the person's mouth is within an inch or two of the mic. You can see that Lia's is almost 12 inches away and the guys' are 6-8 inches away. If you notice, there's massive fluctuation in volume for each of them, especially Lia - when they're talking its kind of quiet and then it's substantially louder, then quiet again, then louder, and so on. This is most likely due to the person speaking being too far away from the mic and it having a hard time picking them up. It's also possible to be other causes but this strikes me as the most likely. Second most likely possibility is that one of the tools used in post-production is over-working and doing more than it should, but I couldn't know that without looking at the audio session and the raw audio files. Anyways, great content, as with episode 1, and I fully support what others are saying: please release the full, uncut episodes, if possible. You guys are awesome for doing this and it's something I wish every other team was doing!
@Olrosse8 ай бұрын
Could that be an expander doing that potentially? I would have though for the best volume consistency you'd want a bit of distance to the mic, then maybe have some slight compression, like a 2 to 1 or something so it's not too obnoxious, that way i would think you could move around a bit more without to much fluctuating volume, Albon seemed to me to vary alot because he had it so close that when he turned to talk to Sargent he moved very far away relatively to when he was talking to Lia

kevin was a bit like perez on abu dhabi 2021 but, perez didn't damaged lewis's car so, when you purpously damage someone's car to help your team mate, it should be black flag, i guess? even if on a such tight street track it's hard to defend while driving between the walls. look, i didn't saw the move(s) very closely, but i hope "destroying rivals" is not a new "haas strategy". they should improve their cars instead of trying some desparate stuff. i have an huge respect for kevin and nico, they have incredible determination to fight for such miserable results, most of top drivers would not give 100% in their position.
@makbule8698 ай бұрын
When the incident with Alex happened, I don't think Kevin was trying to help his teammate. I think he was just racing. Alex also spoke about it after the race as a 'racing incident', and that he gets why that squeezing in that corner can occur unintentionally. Kevin got the penalty anyways, so I don't see a problem there. Kevin later on was defending really hard from Tsunoda to help the team and I think provided some good action which was on the limit but not to purposefully damage someone's car. I find Haas with the strategy brilliant in this case and the execution pretty well. I don't think it's desperate considering the top five teams locking up all the points available every single weekend at this stage of f1. So, actually all 5 at the midfield are desperate all together.
@Housestationlive8 ай бұрын
i think albon was for a rule like "everyone get points" (maybe said if for sprints) and that's geniunely a good idea for races too, since almost every car reaches the finish line everytime nowadays. @@makbule869 historically, only the 6 firsts get points, then the 8 firsts. i think it's time to upgrade this point system, since always the same 10 takes the 10 firsts places, since overall reliability keeps getting better and better

if tyre degradation is as sensitive or more sensitive than in f1 game, i might don't like driving an f1 car at all 😂 i feel like i have no tyre left after 7 or 8 laps and consider 5 stops is the only way to not struggle during a race. i could never do that job IRL. i don't know if the gamplay was bad and exaggerated for marketing purposes, or on the opposite if it's realist but not too much, otherwise it wouldn't even be driveable.
