You're kidding, right? Conan outright bullied him in this and he was angry. He's respectful because that's his demeanor and behaviour, but he certainly detests Conan here. I don't see any mutual respect in elaborate mockery.

No, you got it perfectly wrong. His logic is perfectly sound and he is extremely detailed and descriptive about everything he says. It's just that he uses it as a substitute for real emotion. You can see how he talks about how things feel to him or what is pleasing to him a whole whole lot. But he always just expresses it in these descriptive terms, he never ever actually shows or expresses the emotions he says he is feeling. You can just tell that he is constantly trying to figure out and analyze what makes him feel something, not realizing that to truly feel something, you actually have to shut out all your analyzing and deconstruction and just try to feel. So again, his logic is perfectly sound, it's his heart that it in SOME (odd) place, wherever exactly that might be.

In that way you could even say, that additionally to providing employment, Conan is even providing therapy to Jordan. Because by now he has actually managed to make him genuinely smile and laugh at times. And you can even tell by the weird contortions he sometimes makes when genuinely laughing that his face doesn't even know how to do that properly. Because he has been stuck in robot mode for who knows how long and basically has to relearn it all over.

"laughs at whatever the boss says," almost makes it sound like you think Aaron is laughing to suck up. In either case, Aaron and I have a similar sense of humor, and I find just about anything and everything funny. Sure, it might be a defense mechanism from a troubled upbringing, but it's now a fun way to live. There are just so many subtle contexts in life that all seem to connect, and so with all the available premises from your experiences, almost anything can be humorous.

At 47:00 Conan succinctly describes the whole dynamics of their relationship and why they keep it up for so many years. Contrast creates comedy - the premise of a childish man forced to be around and interact with a very level-headed person is the whole reason why their relationship on (and off) camera is interesting and funny, and it has been for more than a decade.

@@melissakern4996 Conan is usually this way, unfortunately people believe he's a good or respectable person which he mostly isn't. In fact, he made it to his fame in this way (as many do), which is despicable. I lost respect for Conan here but somehow from prior experience I wasn't surprised. Jordan should retaliate, honestly. Speaking with authority and inflection is not losing your cool. They're used to him saying nothing and when he stands on his square (like someone standing up for themselves), y'all say he lost his cool. No he didn't. Conan is so insecure by Jordan's essence that he hides behind and uses comedy as an means to try to dampen Jordan's light. Conan's behavior and the space from which his words and behavior derives, was cringe worthy. I hope by now, Conan has embarked on his journey, so that he don't have to need validation from outside and resort to belittling another Being just so he can try to feel better about himself. Because clearing it didn't work and Conan, many times, face expression was of a failed attempt to redicule. Jordan did a great job block the BS that was coming his way during this hour.

I see what you are saying, but Jordan has been doing this for a while with Conan. He seems to be the type of person to walk out of a situation if it bothers him. He goes along with it because he knows comedy. He knows how Conan is. Plus, he is an adult. He doesn't seem the type of person to get pressured into doing something. But I agree, he definitely needs a podcast

Even if you're not interested in what he's saying, that close up was bad. I love Conan- so enjoyable and funny. I look watch his video's whenever I need a good laugh. But Conan was really disparaging this time. I love Jordan skits but this interview went a bit South. It's hard to watch a man be so thoroughly belittled and devalued.

Conan and Jordan are like two masters of two entirely different, diametrically schools of philosophy. And we get to enjoy them both and even learn from both of their, individually correct, hilariously clashing understandings of life.

If you were paying attention...they were talking about the Norelco shaver and Jordan said “ I saw a disgusting patch of hair on your lower back. We were in a hotel room together 20 yrs ago in Las Vegas “ now why would they be together in a hotel room, YEARS before they were ever filming remotes getting changed getting ready to do something...? Because Jordan is real but he plays it up! It’s an exaggeration of himself and him and Conan and everyone else on the show plan all of the skits hours ahead of shooting them.

Conan surrounded himself with sycophants, which is why I've appreciated Jordan from the start. I love Conan and his humor, but a lot of his staff act like he could say, "How are you today?", and it's comedy gold... I've been a fan since the 90s, and I'm usually on board.

I align with Jordan's metaphysical booga, but he is unaware of his seething. He gives himself too much credit for being together when we can see the obvious. He has a lot of "needing to win" that he does not acknowledge. Just sharing in on the study that is Jordan. Love it, great dynamic. Love to see the NDA.

Jack ♥♥♥ JORDAN DID NOT BREAK OR ALMOST BREAK ANY CHARACTER, BECAUSE HE HAS A LEGITIMATE PERSONALITY. HE JUST DOES NOT LAUGH AT THINGS WHICH HE DOES NOT FIND FUNNY BUT HE CERTAINLY LAUGHS AT THINGS WHICH HE DOES THINK ARE FUNNY. HE JUST HAPPENS TO BE AN INTROVERT WHICH IS WHY HE HOLDS HIS LAUGHTER IN FRONT OF OTHER PEOPLE. HE IS THE KIND OF PERSON WHO IS WILLING TO INTERACT WITH PEOPLE ONLY IF HE FINDS IT NECESSARY. HE PREFERS TO INTERACT WITH PEOPLE WHO HAS NO INTIMATE PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM AS LONG AS THEY ARE WILLING TO LEARN FROM HIM OR AS LONG AS HE CAN ALSO LEARN FROM THEM. THE POINT IS, JORDAN IS PROBABLY A PSYCOPATH WITH HIGH INTELLIGENCE AND MEMORY RETENTION, WITH ATTENTION TO DETAILS, WHO HAS ALREADY MASTERED THE HUMAN EMOTION, EMPATHY AND SOCIETAL CONSTRUCT THROUGH AGE, OBSERVATION AND EXPERIENCE. HE ALSO HAPPENS TO BE AN INTROVERT WHO ALMOST ALWAYS KEEPS THINGS TO HIMSELF WHICH DID NOT OBLIGE OR PUSH HIM INTO MASTERING THE FACIAL EXPRESSIONS AND BODY LANGUAGES NECESSARY FOR HUMAN INTERACTION AND PUBLIC RELATIONSHIP. OTHER PSYCOPATHS ARE SUCCESSFUL IN DOING THIS, THOUGH. JORDAN SHOULD NOT BE WORKING FOR CONAN. INSTEAD, HE SHOULD BE WORKING FOR THE MILITARY, THE POLICE, THE FBI, THE CIA OR AS A COLLEGE PROFESSOR/ASSASSIN. HAHAHA!!!♥♥♥

Although I know this might be a joke... that's never gonna happen because: 1.) Jordan's playing a character. Maybe he is what he portrays, but on a bit of an exaggerated level. 2.) They're probably the best of friends, and their interaction off-camera such as jokes, pranks, etc. might not be as cruel.

Skyberry Symphony II not really, that Aaron guy bends over to Conan all the time, like a kid who idolizes a teenager. Everything Conan says he just laughs senseless, and you can tell he wants to get in and poke Jordan because he’s usually the one Conan pokes on those gamer sketches they do. He isn’t that much of a show presenter either... Also, Conan ‘s humor is really poor here, he’s just attacking Jordan before an audience of teenagers and that Aaron goof.
