One of my favorite memories is going with my dad to see The Goonies in our small town movie theater with the old triangular marquee hanging over the entrance. We bought our popcorn, made sure no one was looking, and then sneaked our way up to the closed balcony, jumping the red velvet rope to what felt like our own private showing. The Goonies was just alright, though. Just kidding, it became one of my favorite quotable movies and I still use that line, "It's our time, down here!".

Am I the only one that in retrospect, is GLAD Conan lost the Tonight Show?... I know in the moment, the whole thing was messed up, but this show is the best... GREAT interviews and hilarious! And we get the Ted & Woody show, to boot! I don't even watch late night shows anymore... Funny how the universe can take things we thought we wanted, and say, "Nah, here is a taste of what you think you want, but I know better... Just bit longer and I will set the cards up so everything falls in place, at just the right time. Just sit tight." The one thing Conan kept doing, is pushing forward. He in no way, gave up. And that is the deal I'm learning about the universe, at 48. You my no be where you thought you'd be in life/career wise. But just keep pushing. Because once you give up on yourself, then the universe will give up on you, as well.
