Goonies was great. I was 8 years old. A fun little Easter egg in the movie with Josh Brolin, when they’re about to enter the tunnel, Sean Aston says, “there is something down there, Josh!” Instead of calling him by his characters name, Brand. No clue how it got left in.

Had to check for some reason. John Matuszak, who portrayed Sloth, was a famous football player (won two super bowls, that's something right). He died of drug overdose two years after the movie came out. He used heavy meds for chronic back pain, not all of which were prescribed. Apparently, the pains were immense, which made it very easy to become addicted to opiates. Tragic story. I like to think he went down fighting.

Cormak McCarthy (SP?) is a very gifted writer. Subtle, dark, sometimes terrifying such as in Old Country and The Road. One line in Old Country was so hilarious. A Killer is helping the racist old woman put her groceries in her car. She has no idea how close she is to getting murdered and she says to him "You dont often see a Mexican in a suit." I laughed of hard. That's a writer.

It's strange, I think Josh is a GREAT actor. But as Thanos I think he's just fantastic, and I can't tell if it's his performance which is making him fantastic, extremely well done CGI which is doing it, or the writing. He's like a different person in his facial expressions and emotions as that character. Maybe the theatricality also adds an "IT" factor which is what makes him so good to watch too.

Please remember to refer to your subject by name regularly to help your audience along, folks! Conan and I are the same age. I saw it when it came out, I don't have kids, and it was gold. For him to say, "he was too old" is just wrong. LOL I don't think it was necessarily a kid's movie, it was a movie with kids in it. Pippi Longstocking did burn itself into your brain, but in the best way. In the "Pippi, are you Crrrazzy?" way.
