My grandmother always says “Canına köpekler işesin.” which means “May dogs pee on your soul.” And also for like a polite way to swear she would say things like “Ben senin sülaleni sinemaya götüreyim de getireyim.” Which means “I’ll take your whole family to the movies and back.” It’s always so funny to hear new curses in turkish and Nines’ (grandmothers) always have the best ones 😂

I never thought I would be happy to hear Turkish swearing in a broadcast:) I have known Sona for years thanks to Conan O'brein and I liked her from the first moment I saw her. I know that she is of Armenian origin and that may be why I feel close to her. Even though there are problems between us now, we Turks and Armenians have lived together for many years in history. Our food, our traditions, our swearing have influenced each other and made us richer. That's why I was happy to hear these curses today:) Love to Sona and team coco from Istanbul❤
