@@grantgarbour Oh yeah Kingdom heart is heavily relying on friendship to solve all of its problems and it's not afraid to say it out loud...I find kingdom heart plot utterly ridiculous and yet I keep coming back to it...Especially "birth by sleep" and KH2. For FF4 yes it's the one with Kain and cecil in it. FFX is using that friendship aspect too, At a point I was more into knowing how the relationship of my character was evolving than the actual plot. Plot that is all over the place as usual in a FF. Your Father Sin actually die and reincarnate as a Giant space whale that is a threat to humanity? And you are a ghost Footballer from the future? I got a guy who played Dual Blades tanking the behemoth like he was inspired by you or one of you in secret. Carried the battle while I wailed on the Behemoth from behind with LS and another with a Bow. Seeing you two run it so smoothly by yourselves is so amazing though, I mean for our run it cast Charybdis twice but that was with our Dual Blades user actually getting enmity and establishing it quickly... You two just stomped this thing without playing by the rules the devs made for the monster, unmatched.

Extreme Behemoth was the demo for Iceborne MR elder Dragons and we had HR gear back then. The fact he became easier as we fought him back then is a testament to the design of monster. This collab is partly what got me to try FF14. Gotta say, this hunt was way more harsh than any extreme trial I've done in FF14. But it was about equal in terms of random players dying to simple mechanics. And ironically the Extreme Rathalos in FF14 is a lot easier if you play it like a Monster Hunter fight. But his flying claw swipe has a hitbox that would make Plesioth blush.

At first I felt guilty because I had the idea that I "cheesed it" but then I remembered that he is tempered, so running him with MR gear is relatively similar to if I were to run regular him with HR gear. As to say that it's by no means a cakewalk and I would hardly call it "cheese". Made it easier and more manageable, absolutely.

Arch tempereds aren't that much of a big challenge as extremoth when using MR gear, actually in my experience the arch tempered aren't even strong as master rank elders, but who knows may be TDS will show how they will massacre them all.

Honestly? I’ve got two things. I had a session with guildmates that just ended and we fought a few tough creatures(at least for me, the others are monsters themselves). After fighting Raging Brachy, we had to go back and fight normal Brachy and he wasn’t as scary. Same goes for Safi and Behemoth. I’ve seen so many Sapphire Starfalls at this point that Ecliptic Meteor seems like a pebble drop in comparison…

Are you trying to solo it? If so that’s your problem, not that you’re bad. I haven’t tried myself, but I’m seeing other people say that it’s possible to solo, but very difficult. This fight is designed specifically to be multiplayer, so if you do it solo, you have to make up for the 3 missing people.

One key tip behemoths meteor drops def so using iron defense is a good idea or your healer can use adamant seeds or parashroom to remove def down. Also if you use Shara ishvalda's set with the assassin's Creed mantle, the glider mantle and tool maintenance you can have a lot of useful skills vs behemoth without expending all of Shara's armor slots.

Most fun I've ever had in this game was soloing this fucker with LS in HR gear. For anyone who still can't do it with master rank gear, the evasion from LS helps a ton if you can get his timing down. It's difficult at first but it eventually becomes manageable. It took me hours of grinding away and getting used to his moves and when he used them. Recommend watching some people good at it, it'll help. But just grind and dont give up hope, you'll get extremoth down eventually.
