I get tortilla chips too and eat them plain sometimes you want something salty like a handful without all the crazy flavors. I need to pick up some more actually cus i was craving some earlier and have no kind of snacks. Ugh i hate grocery shopping. I wish every other store did online like walmart haha but since it is cheaper here we have save alot which is like Aldi.i still need to check that out cus we have one new in our area and I have never ever been into one. The baby loves the squeeze applesauce pouches from savealot so will be grabbing like tons this time to make it last longer. I am with you with some stuff cheaper taste good. Some for me i find it even taste better then some name brands ans other things well hasssss to be the name haha. Do you like zucchini or yellow squash? We make it with chicken sometimes. Just cube the chicken breast up and cooks quick and easy and of course being mexican we eat it with chilli beans haha. So good and quick meal when you don't feel like cooking or no time but have to eat.

Looking forward to the meal planning video! I really (!) struggle with keeping our grocery budget down even though we are a family of 3 (pregnant with our 2nd baby now). We live in the suburbs in Kansas City (which I don't think is super expensive?) But we still end up spending about $700 a month on groceries (including household supplies and diapers, etc). I feel like this is SO much. We don't go out to dinner much but still...!

I would love to see more videos on meal planning and grocery money saving tips. Please look into a better milk. Walmart milk is bad for you and your kids It is important to look for the farmer's pledge seal on the milk. Target milk, Aldi, polka dot, and so many more are safer. If it doesn't have the farmers pledge on it it may say something like rbst free or made from cows not treated with rbst. Please consider it. ❤️. Thanks for this video.

Those Bagel Bites are gonna be good with the hummus! I liked the grab and go snack selection for the kids. I usually buy organic bananas/ fruit, but if I can't get my hands on it I'll get non organic produce. I liked the meal planning. Great haul and meal plan! Love that you do a lot of GV brand stuff. We do as well. It’s priced so well and usually very good, too! We keep our meals pretty simple too. We have potato soup, meatloaf, Ham and cheese sliders and leftovers on our plan this week.

awe! you guys are amazing to be fostering!!!! I'm so excited for you! So for snacks on school days, we usually let them have one snack when they get home from school and that's it (they do get a snack during school as well which we pack them). On the weekend or during the summer, we kind of do the same thing where we let them have a mid-morning snack before lunch and then a mid-afternoon snack. My kids would snack all day long if I let them!

so we do try to keep it around $100 for the week, but sometimes we go over. $7 is easy to just move from somewhere else, like out to eat or miscellaneous purchases. It would just depend on how you have your budget plan set up for your family.
